Cochrane finally booked after about 5 earlier bookable offences and could have been going off. Things like that all influence games but I still think we've been architects of our own downfall today with the pen miss and naivety.

 

People blaming manager and team need to have a look at themselves the only player at fault was the one missing the pen … nothing you can do about masons affecting the game no amount of top quality players is gonna stop that happening unless we call it out put pressure on them and try get certain refs away from our games

Very little bottle in this team. Massive rebuild needed in the summer. Too many passengers. Some just not good enough. Today was difficult with being down to 10 men. But the lack of courage from the team sums them up. Very Very poor.

 

Was never going to be easy but you need to score the pen what a chance to lift the club and get the fans onside

4 minutes added but if the score was flipped there would be about 8 minutes added

 

I'm not saying I agree with the modern/current interpretation of what constitutes as a handball because it was clearly unintentional and unavoidable, but it is a penalty despite it being ridiculous. It's not a conspiracy though; these things happen to teams across the country all the time, in fact the referees get even worse the lower down the leagues you go and make truly baffling decisions. Alongside confirmation bias, it's because we watch Celtic more than we watch any other teams that there seems like a disproportionate amount of decisions go against us.

I'm aware that's not a popular statement to make on a fans forum, and tonnes of people will find evidence to the contrary but that's where I'm at with the whole referee agenda stuff.

Think part of today came down to bad luck 'cause Yang's tried to control the ball at head height with his foot not realising a Hearts player was within the vicinity which makes it dangerous, then the ball just dropped from the air and landed on Iwata's arm.

 

Would have been a different game if we still had 11 on the park


The officials in general have been absolutely embarrassing today
