Jeez. I would hardly say I was lying. Exaggerated an incident that occurred several years ago. Shame on me.

It's tragic that on a day when we should be rallying together as a support, there are still people hellbent on picking holes in other people's takes on an usavoury incident on an internet forum.

And, the guy you are speaking about (Dida incident) is a supporter as well:86:

    Statement from the big huns...

RANGERS Chief Executive Martin Bain has released the following statement after an incident in the Hearts v Celtic match last night.

He said: "Every right-thinking person in Scottish football will be appalled by the incident at Tynecastle last night. "All of us at Rangers Football Club condemn out of hand the attack on the Celtic manager. There is no place in football for this kind of behaviour.

"As regards the police operation in Ayrshire this morning, Strathclyde Police has asked the club not to comment while inquiries are ongoing. The club is fully supportive of the police investigation."

Am Markybhoy's Mum but a long-time Hearts Fan and am absolutely disgusted and appalled at the assault on Neil Lennon at last night's game at Tynecastle. We all know that we get 'worked up' during a game, but there can be no excuse for what the so-called Hearts 'fan' did. Goodness only knows what the stewards were doing, and the police should have been far more 'on the ball', if you'll pardon the pun - thank * he was unarmed or we might be looking at a very different outcome. I feel real compassion for Neil Lennon. No-one deserves the treatment he is getting, and I just hope he has the courage to carry on as Celtic Manager. That will be his best revenge, and for his sake, I hope Celtic win the title on Sunday. As for HMFC, we need to take a long hard look at our stewarding, and also at just what kind of idiots we are letting through our turnstiles. Good luck Neil!!

What you have said there as A Heats supporter is immense....Thank-you.

Sitting here as a tim, as I am in Engirland, it moves ne beond compare when a Hearts fan comes on our website & makes a comment like this.

There becomes a point where you start loosing faith in Scottish football. All the crap that has gone on recently etc......

Thank-you, your remarks have restored a faith in me that I did consider dead. You have no idea how powerful your words are, here's to Scottish football...salvaged from the abyss.

    Hail Hail.

Totally agree on every word you typed especially hoping us on winning the title on Sunday thanks VERY much :50:

Lothian and borders polis should have had their stewards around the dugout rather than in the stands, it seems to me they were not to bothered about Lennon's death threats. Its good to see hearts supporters not sympathizing with that idiot that carried out the unprovoked attack :84:
