Hayato Inarmura

Discussion in 'Transfer Rumours' started by Notorious, Jun 15, 2025.

  1. Think he'll end up playing a fair bit against your stuffy sides at home like Dundee United and Livi to break down..

  2. Well I don't know about you guys, but 'Biglove' is this guy's nickname from now on.

  4. Think it was just highlighting more how Inamura was considered a big prospect even though he only started playing a year ago, that he was a special designated college player.

I did wonder when I read those Japanese fans what they were talking about as many of them were saying "thanks for choosing us" like he got to pick them and they did mention him being a special designated player and even how they waited a long time to see him. Fans even saying they bought his shirt because they knew he would be leaving this summer and wanted one to keep etc

Makes it feel like he was too good to play for them but picked them to play for and they had to wait years to see him.

Be like if Tierney from us went to college for 4 years at 18 instead of playing for us but then we waited to see him knowing he would be good. Then once he played he was good and we knew he'd leave probably after 1 season.

  5. It was such a strange blog actually, said absolutely nothing.

Inamura is set to seal a quick-fire double swoop after both the defender and his club Albirex Niigata confirmed a move to European football is imminent.

    https://www.67hailhail.com/transfer...ng-plan-for-hayato-inamura-ahead-of-transfer/

But Scottish journalist Roger Hannah told Clyde 1 Superscoreboard that ‘the plan’, from Celtic, might be to loan Inamura straight back out.

That’s either a return to his current club in Japan or possibly to a ‘European league’, given the lack of experience at this level.

“I don’t think Inamura will see the first team next season,” said Hannah. “I think the plan might be to either loan him straight back to his club in Japan or loan him to a European league.

“It would be a huge leap for the lad to go from the level he has been playing at and straight into the Celtic first team. I think it’s too big a leap.

Won’t be long before Albirex Niigata have made the official announcement

  10. Sviatchenko got a foul against him pretty much every challenge he made.

Didn't you say in the huns thread Coady and Souttar would start for us?

I mean, if you consider this guy as a strange signing, I'd say that's a good thing!

  13. Coady probably would get games alongside ccv.

  14. Coady is far too slow for us

250k, it's zero risk, no harm in it.

Costs less than the compensation money we'll get for Cummings :giggle1:

  18. You knew it wasn’t going to be £3m, I am sure that was a random number the Daily Record pulled out of thin air.

Buying him to loan him out is ideal. He's clearly got something, let's see how he adapts. Class on the ball

If we loan him out it's clear we're after another CB as well

    250k is peanuts too

  19. If that is the case, it’s imperative we get him the right loan move.

I wonder if the Austrian linked may be used here. For me though, keeping him in Scotland so that he can adjust to living here and the physicality of the game here would be ideal.
