Celtic defender Hayato Inamura could move to Birmingham City as part of a double raid by the EFL Championship club.

The Blues have agreed a £3million-plus deal for winger Yang - who has travelled south as he awaits Parkhead chiefs to sanction the switch.

And boss Chris Davies is now eyeing a last-minute swoop for Japanese rookie Inamura, who has been listed for loan by Brendan Rodgers.

Football League World reports that Birmingham are in the market for cover at left-back and Inamura is viewed as an ideal solution.

He should be going to a Scottish club to be first choice and gaining the experience he needs at LB, not going somewhere to be cover.

I suspect KT will breakdown at some point anyway but he should've been involved against Kairat who weren't interested in crossing the halfway line..

 

He’d probably do a better job in no.6 role than most the midfielders.

 

Actually glad he stayed but after what the board have done for players Rodgers wanted this window. Out of pure spite we won’t see Inamura again as Rodgers said himself he’s a club signing

 

thats exactly where he should be trained to play his quality on the ball is wasted in defence

 

Oh no no, can’t have a sitting midfielder passing the ball forward to split teams open quickly, side to side slowly to bore them into submission.
