Think there's still a bit to iron out with him and tbf he's learning on the ropes in a new position.

The potential is absolutely there though....

He was excellent again, really, really smart player.

Hopefully see him get around 30 minutes against St Mirren. If we're comfortable at half time id give him the second half and rest Tierney.

Another good showing. He's just so calm on the ball, intelligent passing and is strong for his frame. Excited to see hiw far he can go.

Looks good at LB, he is definitely not a CB, lovely weight of pass, and calm and assured.
But, still think we should sign Nazinho.

Hope we don't sign any other left back and he's given the spot with Tierney.. we've more important business to be doing

I'd put money on this lad being capable of a sweet free kick too - that left foot is a wand.

    Quotes from Brendan today

I’m assessing it every day and taking a real close look at certain aspects of his game.

He’s done well, and we have to make sure that by the end of the month, we’ve got it absolutely right for us going forward into certainly, into the next period.

In fairness to the boy, as I said, his plan was that he’d just… he’d come in and then probably go out on loan. I mentioned that right at the very beginning. That was the plan for him. But he’s come in and coped well. But we’ll see over the coming weeks where we’re at.

That's where I'm at with him as well tbh.

Hes done enough to deserve the first few games in August to see where hes at, whilst it allows us to focus on other positions)

If we're near the end of August and hes struggling, I could see us revisit and go back for another LB.

See he’s looked fine mate I don’t want him going on loan

It’s a tough one do you give him time to adjust with us

Or do you get him on loan and see how he gets on

Think we will definitely sign a other LB.

I liked the look of Nazinho.

The original plan for Inamura was to come in and then likely head out on loan to progress his development.

But his debut against Cork City and subsequent pre-season appearances have left Rodgers undecided over what Inamura’s 2025/26 campaign will look like.

Rodgers was quizzed at his press conference on Friday ahead of the Scottish Premiership opener against St Mirren about whether signing a new left-back is still on his agenda.

But the Northern Irishman admitted he’s still unsure. He said: “Yeah, for guys who have only been playing it for a short time, I think they have done really well. I’m assessing it every day and taking a real close look at certain aspects of his (Inamura’s) game.

“He’s done well, and we have to make sure that by the end of the month, we’ve got it absolutely right for us going forward into, certainly, the next period.

“In fairness to the boy, as I said, his plan was that he’d just… he’d come in and then probably go out on loan. I mentioned that right at the very beginning. That was the plan for him.

Trouble will be getting in another left back that will have the same ability as Inamura but more experienced willing to be 2nd choice to KT.

I’d be quite happy to have Inamura as the back up, he should get plenty game time to allow KT to rest plus Frame behind him possibly who has looked promising.

Think it would massive gamble relying on him to be our back up.

KTs injury history may be exaggerated but seriously doubt hes going to able to play 50 games this year. And if he does get injured we would be relying on a miracle.

I suspect another loan signing on the way for additional cover.

With the money we have in the bank we dont really need to be gambling here.

We didn't see much of Frame preseason was he injured, do we know?

Although Inamura has shown up well so far, sounded like Rodgers still isn't totally convinced as we haven't seen him in a competitive match yet..

Maybe, he'll assess him between now and end of the window and we may take a late LB loan
