    No, never.

I almost never get down or angry though, so maybe that helps? I dunno.

I almost died in a hospital operating theatre as a kid, and ever since then I've kind of not really given a lot of stuff much thought. I just go through life doing whatever I like, because I kind of live on the belief that I'm on borrowed time anyway.

I know this will come back to haunt me on here, but i honestly don't really do deep thinking.

    * me off when people say it is selfish, suffering from depression does not make you selfish at all

Interesting. Same thing happened to me (although I don't remember it), but I've been the exact opposite.

What was your personality like before it happened?

I have been really down at times growing up. Wouldn't do it though, but at times it felt like the only thing stopped me was how my family would react and wouldn't want anyone have to clean up the mess after me. I don't know why I'm sharing this on a Celtic forum on the internet really.

Share it with whoever / wherever you like mate. One thing I have learned is it is better out than in. Keeping your feelings bottled up doesn't help you in the long run believe me.

Plus the relative anonymity of the forum can help, plus you'll find that most folk on here are pretty decent, unless you happen to be Peter Lawwell.

I've had low times where I thought about it, but I don't think I've ever thought of it as a serious option. The times when I felt like that, were when I was a teenager, so I reckon that I was just far more emotionally volatile than I am now. These days, I can't see myself ever being in a position where I'd feel so chronically hopeless. It's awful that some people see that as their only way out and not enough help is given to people who suffer severe depression. Depression is something that isn't taken seriously enough by society in my opinion.

    Had it all planned

Was cutting the grass so the house was tidy for my wake.

Just about to finish and head off to the off license to carryout my plan,a couple of friends called at our house just as i was about to leave.

Not sure what the * i was thinking tbh.

Sometimes I feel totally *. But suicide? No, I wouldn't do it. I got a private pension plan, I don't want them to celebrate my early demise! I rather wait until they hire a private gun to kill me when I will be 130. I want to see their emergency meeting ("How much longer do we have to finance that old *???")....

    Plus, suicide is not Catholic...

No, but if I did feel that way I think I'd be too much of a shitebag to do it.

I have a hard time talking to anyone about stuff like this, but will probably see a shrink as I've been feeling * lately...
