its on sky sports news aswell , wil be a good signing if he isnt alwyas injured because on his day hes a great player

 

Never really done it at liverpool for me but if he can hit the form he had with leeds & stay injury clear he would be a good adition however i doubt that will ever happen so it would be a no from me as i think his wage could be used to bring in a player that will stay fit & benifit the team more

Would be a good signing apart from the fact he's more injury prone than Joey Barton after a night out on the lash.... Undoubted talent, but some lanky muppet (Wilkie) would cripple him 8 minutes into his debut - pricey 40k a week after that...

i hope Pistol Pete gives him £20k a week with £20k add-ons, not just a lump sum of £40k. that would be insane otherwise.

i don't want him here, but if he does i will support him and give him the opportunity to show us what he can do. however, if he comes here and gets injured during preseason or a few games into the coming season, i'll be on his, WGS and Lawwell's back to get him the * outta CP.

The worrying thing is this is now on all websites and being talked about on SSN which means it's probably not just * like we all thought/hoped it was.

Surely if he did sign Celtic would be smart enough to give him a contract that's pay as you play. Still hope it's not true though.

This rumour has been going on a while with figures being discussed now.
I fear that we are really trying to get him now which i believe will ultimatly be a waste of money. But if we do sign him i do believe the board would be smart enoguh not to have it in a lump sum a week and most likly pay as you play.

But 1 of the best things if we sign him would be the popularity down under which could even pay for his wages the amount we could make.

 

If the board is smart and dont give him the 40k for nothing, this might not be a bad signing youve got to hope that Kewell thinks that he has a point to prove

 

Suppose he'd give Aiden some competition, mind you Aiden wipes the floor with him & is really fit - so he's never get a game.

 

He can also play where JJ was meant to play.

Not neccesarily. I reckon WGS is looking for more goals through the middle! Brown was supposed to do that, but it never worked out for him, so maybe thats where Kewell will play, with Robson sitting deep.

 

no chance. kewell couldn't hack it in the middle of the park, he couldn't hack it at all at celtic IMO

 

kewell is quite frankly shocking on the left now. he cant cross, has no pace left and isnt very good on the ball - not what you want in a "winger". he now prefers to playi nthe hole behind the main striker and has scored plenty there for liverpool reserves. who would he play behind/ mcdonald likes to drop off and he and jvoh would lack pace. only hutchison in my opinion could play alongside him.

i would have taken him last season but now im not so sure after another season of injuries.

 

Would rather resign maloney or bring in a real winger that likes to run at people
