Not sure if they have a different manager or that but last time I seen them a season or so ago they played a higher line than us.

If they’re still like that, he’ll be *

£2m isn't bad for a guy that we basically didn't trust enough to play outside of dire circumstances. Seems like he done alright at Twente, hope he goes on to have a decent career.

A loss but far from the end of the world.

More shocking someone thought his attributes would ever work with us.

Rightly or wrongly he has no future with us, so get him off the wage bill and if we get £2m aswell it's a good outcome for both parties.

I think we could have gotten more, to be honest. He’s clearly had a decent season in Holland and we should have gotten what we paid for him, at least.

However, in instances like this, it’s good to have a high sell on, which I suspect the club will have in place over a bigger fee now. He goes and does well for Braga, it will be £10m-£15m that teams are offering for him. Usually the big clubs in Portugal come for the Braga players.

    Another case of braindead recruitment.

Signed a CB with no mobility, for a team who play with a high line and recovery pace is effectively a necessity.

    It really is baffling.

Same agent as starfelt. Think this one was to help cover his loss as we probably didnt have anyone lined up at the time is my gut feeling

The very first post in this thread simply says "Done". Which pretty much sums up his position with the club for some time.

Lagerbielke traveled with the SC Braga entourage included. He underwent medical exams 2 days ago and is only waiting for the situation between the agent and Celtic to be resolved

Being fair we lost about €0.5m on him, it was the club not doing their homework that makes it bizarre around the pace scenario with him.

Brendan Rodgers might be Celtic manager but he’s no the be all and end all if other clubs and coaches rate the boy then we should least demanding what we paid
From what I’ve seen of him and what I seen of nawroski they were both good enough to start over scales good money spent between them and Rodgers didn’t touch them because he had no hand in the signings think Rodgers is quite damaging to the Celtic model tbh

Tbf it’s saying 2m pounds we signed for what 2.6 m euros and we have had loan fees for him I wouldn’t be surprised if we made our money back and have a sell on

We paid £3m for him, but in Portuguese media it is being reported as €3m that Braga are paying so about £2.6m.

As you say we may have got a loan fee from Twente so won’t be that much of a loss.

I tend to trust the foreign figures quoted outwith the Turkish and a few others. But over the last few years it has been mostly journalists from the country a signing target we have that has broke the stories. The Scottish Press have been a shambles and Joseph is basically an aggregator who just takes information from other sources further down the line.
