Multiple people who sit near me have claimed to have already contacted Celtic regarding this Steward. I am planning on contacting them too, I just haven't got 'round to it yet. Will do though.

agree about everything said about the stewards.... u dont get that type of stewarding anywere else.... not even at ibrox.

whats worth noting is that all the stewards, except g4s (previosuly rocksteady) are employed directly by celtic... they only contract out a very small number of stewards to g4s.

this then means celtic have total control of the stewards as they employ them.... from my observations, if you employ stewards who only work every second week for a season they are not properly trained or equipt to do a stewarding job as per the new government regulations for stewarding... as such everyone should complain to the SIA which regulates stewarding them something will have to be done.

if celtic have any respect for their fans they should stop trying to steward on the cheap, with their own staff, who clearly cannot cope and contract the whole lot out to a company who have guys working night in, night out doing that job, so know how to handle situations. This is what most other clubs do across Europe.

Try to find out their names lads and record them if possible when they break the rules. if you contact celtic and you can name any names they will take you more seriously and also evidence as in pics or movies if possible.

This is something you should definitely follow up on. Supporter groups should be encouraged, not put off going to games by over officious stewards.

The stewards, in some cases, will be right as you do get fans acting like idiots but from what I've seen it's mostly fans just enjoying the game, singing and creating an atmosphere.

Jesus Christ man the last thing the group needs or anybody else grow up ! Get the video on and let everybody see them acting like children by blocking exits and throwing things it was out of order imo . We are all Celtic fans lets start acting like it as one , not silly groups trying to make a name for themself yes the stewards are dicks but rise above it one group should be enough and thats called Celtic .

i take it your talking about me .

well i care about our club and know as much as the next man, singing republican songs when its quite clear that its only going to attract and instigate the stewards and police , is not the past time of someone who cares about the club, but someone who's using the club as a political platform and therefore only causing bother for the club in the media spotlight.

we are fortunate that it has not been highlighted yet, but it will one day. in the future you could be looking at being kicked out of competitions or deducted points etc.

i like a rebel tune myself but it should be kept where it belongs (rebel nights, in the house or car). celtic have a fantastic history with loads of songs penned to mark the occasions . why not sing these songs and leave the huns to the hatred .

we are celtic supporters, not puppets of sinn fein. lets get back to supporting celtic and not playing games with the authorities.:50:

why is it so infantile to block an exit??

its a type of protest for christ's sake!

if they collectively as group disagree with one person trying to be ejected from the stadium, then what else should they do?

sit on their hands, or do something about it?

i don't think i could disagree more with you. i hate everything you have said there.

    absolute * nonsense.

if people want to sing irish folk songs, then whats the problem? some peepul (sic) seem to think these so called rebel songs are offensive etc. They are only offended by them because of their own issues, i.e. they dont like the 'taigs'.

as for keeping the songs to ourselves, singing at home, or listening to things in the car. why don't you grow a pair and stop acting like a *. sing it loud and proud, i personally don't feel like its anything to be ashamed of. if you know you're history you'd know that we are the ones who were repressed and kept down. and that bound the community because we knew we had to look after ourselves. noone else would.

it might be convenient for you to forget all this. but all past events have lead us to where we are now. and so are relevant still. you only need to look at the sfa to know where we fit into things in 'lovely presbyterian scotland'.
