I’ll start it off with two for the same player though McGeady’s debut CL game vs Milan where he wrecked Colocinni, and maybe his best ever game for us the 1-0 against Benfica where he was * unstoppable

Forrest against Bayern in that game we got beat 2-1.

 

Gonna go left field and say Big Moose V Man City.

2 goals, the second one of the goals of the tournament. Game wise he actually didnt have much impact, but thats exactly why it was special. Two opportunities, 2 goals; against what was billed as the best side in Europe with the best manager in the world.

We looked every inch a CL team that night, alot of it down to the quality of players like Moussa and KT.

 

Samaras the night Broony got sent off against Barcelona.

Forster against Barcelona has already been said(even though that would probably be my first choice) but I also would give special shoutout to John Kennedy against Barcelona at the Nou Camp. He was unbelievable that night, especially given the circumstances.

 

That was gonna be my one tbh, so not gonna add to it.

On McGeady, I remmeber that game against Benfica, we were away? Unbelievable that night, Milan was some perfornance too mind you.

Slightly derailing thread a little but thought it was worth mentioning Liam Miller's sub appearance Vs Lyon. Was so good Alex Ferguson decided to nick him off us.

But the names thrown about by other members are overall the better shouts.

Might not have been a CL game but was against a CL level opponent, David Marshall against Barca 2004 uefa cup, he was only 18 or 19.

 

David Marshall against Barca was one that sticks in the memory too.
