Glenn Loovens

Loovens and hooiveld are just as bad as mc Manus and Caldwell i thought when we replaced these guys we would have got better but we ain't . we need to ship these two clowns out and replace them with two 2centre backs around the 3million mark.

he needs a chance and alot of you are going to ramble on about Utrecht blah blah but the whole team was abysmal wasn't just hooiveld and alot are using him as a scapegoat personally i like him and tbh i think lenny will be starting him from now on because rogne is still young yet and two experienced centre halfs in hooiveld and maj is much better than that ejit loovens

 

Saw Alan Stubbs at the game yesterday, i would rather he pulled the boots on again and played instead of Loovens. How many mistakes is he going to make and still start for us. He is woeful, the sooner he is away the better

 

How the * did Loovens get anywhere near the dutch team, think it must be a ploy by his agent to raise his value a bit like Shiedt for Brazil, cant believe I thought it was a bit of a coup getting him ahead of the manky mob how they must be laughing now, just not good enough we've seemed to address the problem left-back position we must know focus on centre defence why is it managers just don't see these problem when over 60000 fans can.

 

I think you are right mate. Ledley gets an easy ride in here but
he has done * all to convince me he is a holding midfielder.Ledley was anonymous against Rangers. I don't think Loovens will be dropped, I think it will be that carthorse Majstorovic who cost us two goals on Sunday.

We need speed at the back and Majstorovic and Hooiveld are as slow
as snails. I think Lenny will now go with Loovens and Misun/Rogne.

 

What the * was he thinking of when he pushed Miller in the chest when the ref called the two of them over to him. Maybe that was the closest he had got to him all afternoon.

 

i agree. i think looven,s was trying to bottle it. he knew he had a chance of being sent off. rogne should play . if he,s good enough he,s old enough. i also think we should change to a 3-5-2. izzy and mabe maloney winging it. paddy off front 2 hooper an other.

Glenda has the club at heart but he just isn't good enough. Surely we can find someone better, even here in the SPL from one of the wee clubs, for * sake????????

Does anybody including Neil Lennon know what the Celtic team should be?
If you go to this forum and others theres all kinds of first team selections suggested, how long is this going to continue?

 

After his latest horror show against the huns he should never pull on a Celtic shirt again, he should simply be told he is no longer wanted and to start looking for a new club.

 

He will give you one * up per game, thats his ratio, I would doubt anyone could disprove this!!

 

His problem for me is his complete lack of consistency. He can look very commanding in one game by winning headers and playing simple passes at the back but by the next is looking clumbersome and lacking in confidence. On Sunday I think he tried his best but got very frustrated and this showed with his kickouts at Miller and Lafferty towards the end.

 

Agree totally bout replacing them definitely Loovens but these players cost £2-3million not about money spent its about getting the right player think of Scheidt cost £5million. we have two months to decide should be enough to assess all options dont wont to end up with a player like Loovens who you have to play to justify there price tag, think loan to buy better option else we would be stuck with players like Braafheid and N'Guemo.

doesnt anyone notice that big dan playing beside him is actually the worst player out of the 2 of them. hes terrible ! loovens taking all the flack after sunday but dan was way worse than him ! why isnt there a thread to get rid of him?? hes been very average in all the spl games and against utrecht and now rangers he has been found wanting !!! get rid now and let him top up his pension elsewhere
