I quite like him! Am i mistaken or did he have a record for clean sheets last year for us? So i dont know why a lot of you are unhappy with him, I think he done well last year.

Seems that most are struggling to get marquee out of their heads, well said. Most of these people seem to be thinking a keeper, who is completely untested at our level is the better option.........

have u seen a handsome hun
he actually was Lennons first choice....we were originally told he wasnt available on loan and that if celtic wanted him the fee was £4 million. thats why we moved on.....obviously newcastle have rethunk their original demands. but i'm still underwhelmed by his signing. like rab douglas....he's a giant of a guy who when he jumps he gets smaller.

No, but i've heard really good things about the man, from reliable people.... i can use that smiley too :bbpd:

:50: I stand corrected, however i don't believe he should be his first choice, better goalkeepers we could bring to the club.

I don't think we have, I think we've taken the easy option by getting Forster.

Don't get me wrong, I will support the big man in the goals, but I certainly ain't happy we've opted for him, definitley would nothave been my first choice, for the reasons i have stated.

I obviously want him to do well.... I'm just not overly happy.

Brilliant news. For me, he was the priority signing for us this transfer window.
    Well done, Lenny!:50:

No i never, but like i said a few times in my last post, i've heard good things from reliable people.

How can you disagree 100% if (and i know you won'thave) you haven't seen him play either?

Get the Marquee signing pish out of my head? I'm not asking for a marquee signing, I'm asking for a decent, solid, reliable goalkeeper.

    I hope your right.

Who cares about many clean sheets he had did we win the league last year?? He's * and i'm totally disappointed were signing him I hate saying this but he is no where as good as Mcgregor !! Ppl will say he's young he will improve no he won't he's dodgy as * at corners his kicking out is atrocious but still we people will say we had more clean sheets that rankgers !!! So disappointed !!

Was hoping for someone better, but his record speaks for itself.

I dunno how I feel about this one yet.

Disappointed that it's just a loan, a club of our stature should never be in the position where we don't even own our #1 for two consecutive seasons.

He had a great record last season but a lot of that was down to our midfield. Obviously he still has to get credit for the record but the stats don't tell the whole story, they never do.

My main issue with him is his command of his box, it's nowhere near good enough, especially when you consider his size.

Happy enough I suppose since he's better than Zaluska but would have liked better.

    Done :50:

    Welcome back big man.

I think there are better goalkeepers out there, but Lenny obviously saw enough in him last season to want him back, I think he improved as the season went on and hopefully that improvement will continue.

Delighted with this news as this is the goalkeeping spot done and dusted now.
Now if we can just get another striker in, it will be the icing on the cake

I`m not exactly thrilled about this because I think we can do better. Never felt confident at all with him in nets last season and it was mostly down to our defence that we broke the clean sheets record. Anyway, he will have my support regardless. Welcome back Fraser:shamrock:
