my girlfriend talks about how things in her house seem strange at times and things can move, and i was at hers lying in her bed and i swear i thought someone at standing at the end of the bed full black outfit but i only got a glimpse of it and i like froze and she asked what it was? and i didnt mention it because i thought it would creep her out and she said the day after that she had a horrible sleep and felt like someone was walking around and in her room!

Actually heard a story about the pub down the road from me, Crookston Hotel, apparently has ghosts. Glasses moving on their own, smashing and tables moving. Was in the paper a few years ago.

Sorry about that mate, was hoping you had gone for a pint! :84:

Nah, I'm only joking mate, I completely understand, people do that thing when you tell them where they show respect to listen but you can just see there thinking "What a load of...." so I normally keep my Ghost experiences to myself unless someone actually asks me about my night in Chillingham castle.

Is it still going on now man?

Why did I read this thread?
I'm alone and every noise is making my imagination run wild. The wind outside isn't helping either!

The Celtic Song ... There can be only one !
OK here goes I am a mature bloke over early 50's and like most folk on here a let me see it first before I believe it. Years ago staying in a hotel on business I awaoke about 02.00 and turned to see a figure sitting on my bed looking at me. I quickly put on the light and there was nothing there. I got up and went into the toilet to check .. Strange thing is I am a complete shitbag as my Wife would verify. Anyway back to bed and put the light off convincing myself it was nothing. Just nodding off and I felt someone sit down on the bed turned again and saw the same figure. This time the light stayed on and I spent the rest of the night watching crap TV. 100% convinced there was something there and to this day scares the life out of me. Also experienced my late Dad and Brothers around me but again perhaps this is because I want them to be there (if you know what I mean) !!
But the hotel story is genuine and I am convinced it was a ghost !!

only twice one time me and another time a boy in my old school

I was in primary 4 or 5 i think ?? been tht long haha but i do remember one of the guys in my class went to the toilet bout 5 mins later he comes back crying and our teacher at the time asked why he was crying and he said that malky the janny had shouted at him in the toilet for throwing toilet roll balls on the ceiling (something i,m sure we all done ) but anyway after he sed this the teacher went chalkwhite and just told him it was ok and get back to his seat anyway i told my dad this and he told me that malky was a janitor there when my bigger brother was in school but he hung himself in the wee house at the school like the janny's house? but my brother is 32 and i,m 21 i still to this day remember that story i dunno if its true but its creepy cause i remember the boys face and the teacher looking scared.

Other one is when my big sis was pregnant wi my first nephew i remember it was near the time she got the scans n all that i was sleeping one night i had a dream i was talking to my granda but it felt pure real and he was wearin the cardigan he used to wear at christmas time n that but anyway me my mum n sis were sitting in the livin room it was either the day after or a few days later n somehow i got round to saying that i had a dream about my granda and my mum just looked at my sister they looked proper shocked and i asked what was wrong and my mum said vicky just told me she had a dream about your granda and she asked what he was wearin and thats when her face went completely white in my sisters dream he was wearing the same thing and was sayin that everythings gonna be ok and said she'l have a brilliant healthy baby i dunno what you make of this but i still get goosebumps haha!! kinda weird i dunno if we did dream this or we were awake n seen him or they were just bustin my balls but still creepy

I have a vivid memory of when I was around four, waking up with some sort of weird creature at the side of my bed looking at me with an evil stare. Swear to * thats true, for years ive always wondered was it my imagination/a dream.

    Absolute pile of *.

Why do you never hear reports of caveman ghosts or 80's ghosts rocking about in high-tops and adidas gear in broad daylight?
