I can't remember if I've posted in this thread already but I don't believe in ghosts at all. Think it's a lot of superstitious nonsense.

I used to drink with my dads old buddie after Celtic games & a couple of year ago he told me one from his youth in Donegal..
...he said he was 5 or 6 & coming home from mass with his family.. he was skipping in front & met his eldery neighbour who always stood at the fence-post of his field so he started chatting to him ..At this point his mum & dad caught with him & asked who he was talkin too.. he told them & they picked him up in there arms and ran all the way home & took him straight to bed & started doing the rosary...as the neighbour had died a few weeks previously!! creepy but i believed him.. he has since passed on now himself ... RIP BD :shamrock:

I'll tell you something that happened to me when i was younger, i can't remember it because i was only about 2-4. We moved house into our one we just sold recently, about 20 year ago. When my mum and dad were moving in the stuff from a mates van i was upstair and the back gate led to a park and i was asking to go play in it. My mum said play with your toys upstair and don't move and i'll take you out when were finished. So 10 minutes later my mum came up and i was gone, she came out to the park and i was sitting on the grass speaking to myself then she gave me a row for leaving the house on my own, then i said "I didn't he chummed me" she said who etc and i apparently was like "Oh he mustve went away he was here a minute ago, the man who was in my room" my mum said she was creeped out thinking that someone had been in my room asking what he looked like etc. Apparently he was a old man older than them who had a green jumper on. A few days past and the old woman who lived before it came to visit to get something signed and see how we were liking the house, my mum mustve told her and my dad said her face turned chalk white.

Apparently her husband used to love kids and had died in the house about 4 years before in his bed in the room i was playing in, and he used to always wear a green jumper as he was a big Hibs man.

They felt the need to tell me this when i was about 13, and sleeping in the room still lol. Safe to say i slept with the light on for a few days. Never seen a ghost or anything since, just seemed a bit spooky.

Not a good thing to look at, when you're in your bed at 3am in the pitch black, and the mrs and daughter are sound asleep :38: :icon_mrgreen:

The following photograph was taken in 1919 by Sir Victor Goddard of his Royal Air Force squadron. In back row, fourth from the left, another man's face can be seen. It is said to be the face of Freddy Jackson. Freddy was an air mechanic who suffered an accidental death by airplane propeller two days earlier. Is it possible that Freddy came back from the dead to visit his fellow airmen for one last group photo?

I don't believe in anything supernatural, think it's just the power of the human mind and nothing more.

I think it is odd for people to travel across dimensions, or other worlds, or whereever they come from, to wonder around in the pitch black when people cannot see clearly, and speak or make noises very quietly when people cannot clearly hear them, leave vague messages that people can barely understand, and then vanish when people actually try to find them.

I promise if I come back as a ghost I will fly down during the day in a busy place, give a speech in audible English (without going "woooooooooo") and then write a few messages and hover away. Because until a ghost does this, it strikes me that is all just a bit *.

Pretty sure that children are more intuitive when it comes to things like seeing ghosts/spirits. Seen a few programmes on it. Something to do with a less sceptical mind, like you see what you want to see type of thing. Maybe that's why it hasn't happened since.
