TINA Turner's snooty aide has rudely snubbed Rangers fans - claiming she doesn't CARE about their bid to get Simply The Best to No1.

More than 3,000 Teddy Bears have backed a new Facebook campaign to get their unofficial anthem to the top of the charts.

But Tina's publicist, Bernard Doherty, sniffed: "Yawn. Tina has retired gracefully and is probably sitting in her mansion in the south of France with a Pina Colada.

"She couldn't give a monkey's about Rangers * football club and a song she recorded 20 years ago.

"She wouldn't be interested in supporting the campaign - she's far too sophisticated."

But one Gers fan raged: "It's a disgraceful attitude. Tina would be chuffed we want her back in the charts."

Tina, 70, reached No5 with the song in 1989. It now plays at Ibrox as the team runs out.
