I wish he was more of a threat in the air. With his height, you'd expect him to be a massive danger whenever a ball is crossed to him. But no, he lost that after one injury during the Strachan era.

Think he still would be a decent goal threat in the air, he wins enough high balls when it's punted up to him, problem is he doesn't spend enough time in the box.

a watched him for this last night, everytime a ball got played into a crossing position he came out the box looking for a pass..... don't think he understands what a being a striker involves

He was pish again last night ....doesnt tackle , doesnt track back ...he must be a nightmare to motivate ...

I was one of these people who used to stand up for him however its been sometime since he put in a shift ...

If he plays sunday and scores the winner my perception of him wont change ..He has to be more consistent , not just turn it on once every 10 or so games ...The guy is so frustrating

We need rid of him, he was one of the better players last night but he is just so inconsistent. Punt sammy buy a big strong target man - bianchi/diawara/lacina traore - sorted.

    I thought he did OK.

He was against a 'continental' style RB, who was never gonna be much use in the air. He won his fair share of headers, and did cause problems when he got his head down and ran.

I get the feeling he thinks he is a David Silva type. Be great if he could just utilise the qualities he has, rather than trying to be something he is not - and never will be.

Aw your good!!! The Zookeeper must be so proud of you.

I never critisized Ki because he actually did have a shot and nearly scored a wonder goal.
I never critisized Kayal because he had a dig too.
If you were watching the game you maybe have noticed this.

Now, this midfield position you seem to be so informative about.

The midfield between the front and the back you say?

Is that were it is? Your full of surprises you know, evolution has served you well.

Would that be the midfield were Jamie Forest scored 2 from on Saturday or the midfield were Ki scored on Saturday or is it the very midfield were Joe Ledley scored from on Saturday? I am confused.

It surely wasn't the same midfield were Kris Commons scored 13 goals from last season, was it?

Anyway, jog on there flipper and you might get a decent size fish for your supper.

Can't believe it. We lost a game and samaras isnt being blamed!

Did well last night, it doesn't look like stokes will be fit for Sunday, looking like Sammy will start.

Agreed! The guy has played like 20 mins of football and I didn't see anything worth a starting space IMO.

Done well but can't help but feel a proper left-winger would've been more appropriate. Pretty awful seeing Samaras tracking back & defending in the right-back area.

Would've played him up front alone tbh

For me the question is what has sammy done that merits a starting spot over bangura.I would prefer stokesy but not sure if he will be fit to play so next in line is bangura.Granted we don't know what hes all about, but neither do rangers !!
