    So many myths about Sammy. IMO he is one of the players our game goes through and who never hides any time he players. He always busts a gut for us. The idea he is lazy is racist stereotyping IMO. Its so far from the truth its ridiculous. The ONLY issue with him is he doesnt score nearly enough. The rest of his game and effort is very decent IMO.

    He was superb tonight and he is capable of performances like that, he just doesn't have consistency.

    Delighted for him aswell because he takes a * of a lot of abuse.

    I dont believe it really matters what formation he is played in, its all about his desire and decision making on the ball.

    When he plays like he did tonight then he can be an important player for us.

    I have been advocating for a long time now for Lenny to play Sammy in left midfield and at last Lenny is seeing this is Sammy's best position IMO.With his height and lung bursting speed he is a major danger to opposing defences coming in from the left, and with two assists tonight, and his substantial back tracking and defensive capabilities, he gives gravitas and penetration to our midfield which was lacking before.

    He normally frustrates the life out me but tonight he put a shift in and can hold his head high. The only thing is that we all know if he starts again against motherwell he will be back to his annoying self and it * you right off as you know he his capable of better. He's a complex character.

    ano,going back to that AGM,Neil said he was our player so we play him

    tonight was perfect for him and deserves a start against M'well on that performance, if he produces the same level then he might just keep lennon in a job

    he's not my cup of tea,if he did that every game might get a lot of people off his back including me

    tonight he stood up and was counted and fair play.
