    He has started 4 games this season in each he has been one of the stand out players.

    He deserves a chance to attack Rennes and Motherwell. At least he will try unlike Hooper.

    I'll be shot down for this,

    but i fully believe if Gerogios Samaras was given a run of games, I mean a real run in the regular starting 11, then he would bang them in for us.

    Last time i remember him getting a regular run was towards the end of 3IAR, and i remember him popping up with a few important goals.

    I think they were sub appearances right enough, but I do genuinly believe he would do a job if he was given a confidence boost with a run of starts..

    Hooper should give way for the time being, because he can't be 100% fit, there's certainly something up with him that's for sure.

    but saying that, I don't think sammy plays well with Stokesy, so somethign would have to be sorted there.

    Major problem is he suits counter attacking sides, hence why he's most threatening in Europe and away from CP.

    :50: Agree 100%, when he got a run, he played well. Hes not a 30 goal a season striker but he would get a lot more goals and could be a very good player. We have seem glimpses of what he can do. Hes a confidence player, he needs to be played regularly to gain consistency.

    You lot are simply delirious. Sammy has had his chances, year after year, failure after failure. I've never watched a more infuriating player. Lazy runs, lazy passes, lazy shots and a lazy haircut. Lenny would be scraping an already empty barrel if he starts sammy, i hope they both leave, get a house together and live out the rest of there lives side by side, no where near parkhead!

    Some utter morons on here. Deserves his start ahead of Hooper. If Samaras had put in some of hooper's recent performances, he would have been hung, drawn an quartered.
