    Don't think so, as above, because he is English the price is £8m or so. Juranovic is playing in Poland and is 6 years younger. Highly doubt he will be close to that.

    We got both Hart and Mccarthy for next to nothing which was excellent business IMO... But let's face it both are towards the end of their careers.. Just saying the likes of Baldock and the price SU are probably looking for there is far better out there..

    Tbh mate I was being a bit of a * and winding you up. On the whole youre right 9/10 there's little value for us in that league. Just occasionally we get the deals like we just did for Hart and Mccarthy which makes sense.

    Celtic are lining up a move for Sheffield United defender George Baldock, Football Insider understands.

    The Glasgow giants fear they will lose right-back Josip Juranovic, who is a target for Atletico Madrid.


    Baldock, 29, has been a long-term target for the Bhoys and they came close to signing him 12 months ago.




    The Greece international has two years remaining on his contract at Bramall Lane.

    He joined the Championship club from MK Dons in July 2017 for a six-figure fee.


    Over the last five seasons the defender has amassed 166 appearances for the Blades, of which 70 have come in the Premier League.

    The right-back made 27 Championship outings last season as Paul Heckingbottom’s side narrowly missed out on promotion through the play-offs.

    Baldock played both legs of United’s play-off semi-final loss to Nottingham Forest and grabbed an assist in the second leg.

    A move to Glasgow would see Baldock play outside of the English pyramid for the second time in his career.




    The right-back enjoyed a spell on loan at Icelandic side IBV Vestmannaeyjar while at MK Dons in 2012.

    Celtic are in the market for a right-back amid growing uncertainty over the future of Juranovic.
