    Agreed..

But, having to meet the fans regularly and explain their decision making face to face, with the minutes published to wider fanbase is a level of transparency and accountability, they have never faced.

It would be a good thing, a start and its the bare minimum a club should be doing.

It would be a good start, but if we take last week's meeting and any other communication the clubs had with the support in regards being asked questions of them, they'll just keep doing the "we are looking at it" and "privacy issues" and "none of your concern" responses.

I'm more amazed MN is letting the idea of talking about a FAB be out there.
They're gonna be damned now if they don't go through with it.
"Yeah we thought about it, but we still don't care enough about the fans, so naw" is gonna be the assumption if they don't go ahead with one.

But then also damned if they do, after pretending it's been in discussions for awhile (before this season's unrest) and they'll be questioned why they dragged their heels, as per.

Whole thing feels like yet more appeasing to fans to try and keep a divide

It would also highlight incompetence.. which would make it easier to unite the fanbase into taking agreed action..

Like I say its the absolute minimum they should be doing.. engagement with your customer, as that's how they perceive us(if we're lucky)

Getting organised as a fan group, has forced them to engage and there isn't a way back for them on that..

Its the first step, the first battle won, in which could be a long bitter campaign..

Yeah, don't get me wrong it'll be good if it's a means to an end rather than an end in itself.

I won't criticise any of the fans pushing for it and wanting to be involved with it as realistically it's a net positive with no real downside.

I'm more just cynical about the board full stop and can't imagine they'll ever change regardless of any fan based functions they entertain. But as you say this may just be the thing needed to expose them once and for all..

The idea that this proposal has been in the boards thoughts and is not a reaction to the current mess they have made is risible. I simply do not believe that one bit. The tone as it has been described of the club from last weeks meeting shows the club has nothing but contempt for us. Regardless if a genuine FAB becomes a reality that is without a doubt a positive and a step in the right direction. But I will believe it when it actually happens and I certainly don't believe the board about the timing of this. Nor for that matter do I believe the story today about us supposedly going to spend significant money on a midfielder in January is anything but suspect timing wise either.

Just need to set out exactly what we want to achieve as a Collective.. need to forget about DD, he won't do anything he doesn't want to do and there's not much we can do about it..

They are also not going to bow down to our pressure to remove Nicholson or Lawwell as they would feel it would set a precedent, where we can force change anytime we're unhappy..

Hopefully Lawwell will go in the near future and thats a big trust issue solved.. if Nicholson continues to demonstrate such incompetence then he'll likely go as well..

But, I think we need to be realistic on what we can actually achieve.. the Fan Advisory Board would be a start, then see what if anything happens at the AGM.

The action makes sense and doesn't affect the Team..

By February we'll have had the transfer window and the AGM

My spending stopped already in August. No kits purchased and the TV cancelled. It's the only way we will be listened to.

It’s all about self preservation with these *, so anything they do at this stage cannot be taken in good faith. They have made their feelings clear. The way we are being run currently is all well and good for this board. They genuinely think this model is a success. The protests need ramped up to try and force them out. Unfortunately, I don’t think there is enough in our support willing to go the distance with it.

This is where it will be at for the next while, I think they will remove PL and MN but not until next year so it doesn’t look like fan pressure was the main cause.

We need to get rid of the NED’s as well that are well past their tenure, that would have a bigger impact especially if we could get the leader or someone part of the Fan Advisory board (once set up) in as a non executive. Am sure there will be several fans that have the experience needed. This would provide the clarity needed as a clear link between fans and board.

    Will never happen though unfortunately.

Another action we could do without harming the team is remain in the stadium after games, this would also encourage folk to actually stay instead of * off 15mins early.

The Collective are just catching up with what many fans and friends/family of mine had already decided, club getting nothing from us except STs, I've certainly no wish to watch an under strength Celtic side struggle and be embarrassed in Europe, definitely not spending an extra £100 and 10 hours round trip to be annoyed

I thibk tbf, it's early days in terms of trying to force change...

The silent protests didn't really work for me, I think this current action is sensible and actually gives the board time to assess their response, whilst not being too detrimental to the team..

The AGM will be the time to gauge if there's likely to be any movement or they may double down.

The January transfer window, now that could well be a bit of a smokescreen already we're being linked with targets.. price etc.. very unusual. They may feel one good window will appease us.. alongside a Fan Advisory Board implemented.

Its important to try and stay united..
