think he could do with bulking up a bit, having a bit of extra weight/muscle will help him physically and get him superfit because he'll need to be to get games in this side

think that our style the now playing fast and leading from the front, pressing and chasing would help him more than playing a slower tempo possession game that we played for much of last season

Needs to be moved on,wont get ahead of Sinclair,Forrest or Roberts.also blocking a path to the first team for guys like Miller and Nesbitt, Brendan has to be ruthless gutting this squad of players, so he can bring in his own men.Exciting times ahead.

Does anyone think Rodgers could have the same kind of affect he's had on Forrest with GMS? There's definitely some talent there.

I always liked GMS but my biggest concern is the fact that he crumbles in pressure circumstances for us. I look at Forrest's resurgence and always remember that even if years where he was in and out of form, he still made an impact for us in Europe ie. Shaktar Karagandy, Barca 2013, and Fenerbache last year.

Whenever GMS has been played against a team at a similar/better quality than us ie. Inter Milan, Malmo he's shrunk. Also recall League/Scottish Cup semi's where he was invinsible last year. Forrest has his bad games for sure but he also proved he can keep up in games where we need to be at our best. That's the reason I think GMS's time here is coming to an end.

Far from it. He missed his early chance which would've been tie changing. After that he faded. He doesn't show his technical ability against better quality opponents because he very rarely involves himself by taking on players. If we are questioning his heart and fight that to me is a sign that moving on would be the best for both parties.

GMS outstanding in the San Siro? You could see there is a player in there but not one who has the heart and commitment to play for Celtic. Hes a total shitebag with some good technical ability.

He came off injured for Ambrose. What I am saying is that during that time he was looking dangerous even in Europe, running at defenders... he has gone backwards quite badly since then.

He is on my punt list due to his lack of fight, much like his pal Armstrong... not technical ability.

Yes he was before he came off... watch the first half again if you doubt this.

I never doubted his technical ability? I'm saying he doesn't show it against better opponents and he doesn't. You obviously feel differently regarding his game against Inter away but other than that we both agree that he's gone downhill since his first 4-5 months and should most likely move on. We are agreeing...:smiley-laughing002:

Yes we agree lol, sadly I don't think he will develop the way we want although the photo with Brendan above may show he is willing to give him a chance once fit... who knows, they do look pretty friendly :smiley-laughing002:

:smiley-laughing002: he's not a shitebag just a winger that's inconsistent. Rodgers could work wonders with him.

Always been a huge fan of GMS and Armstrong, even before signing for celtic, but I think hes another classic example of Celtic buying the best players from another SPL team who doesnt work out. Dont see him fitting into our current outfit and would benefit both the player and probably the league if he went somewhere else in the SPFL.
