    A very uninspiring signing if this deal does go through. I don't think he's any better than what we already have- and I don't think they're good enough!

    Having said that, if he does sign, I obviously hope he does well for Celtic.

    I kind of agree with this.

    Hes either going to play wide left or wide right.

    On the right we have James Forrest (providing he's fit), I believe Forrest is a better player than GMS.

    On the left we have Tony Stokes, is GMS really any better than Stokes? probably not.

    Forrest never * plays, so although I'm not Mackay-Steven's biggest fan, he's certainly a better option than Forrest is.

    Realy hope we get gms in, we don't have a real left winger! Stokes is better up front and comparing him with forrest makes no sense as they both can play on opposite sides. Hugs the byline and dosnt just beat players with pace he skins them like a skillfull winger we want to watch. Forrest has his own game I'd be happy with both boys on great form running at defenders..

    I doubt he'll even be here for the games against Inter. Why pay when you can wait six months and get him for nothing? :smiley-laughing002:

    GMS for couple hundred grand is a steal.
    Exactly what we're needing against packed out opposition halfs, direct, tricky and confident.

    If his name was garrido macheda Sanchez from Spain we wouldn't be berating our club for this.

    As I have said before, I haven't always seen the hype around him (awaits battering from Rosko) but I'd take him for the price quoted. He is a better option than most wingers we have, which isn't saying much.

    It's an area we still need to strengthen even if he does come in though.

    Only thing is we need a winger now, not on a pre contract. For the sake of 250k it would be best just to get him in now. Knowing Celtic, and Peter Lawell however, there is always, always a stumbling block.
