If we get these 3 I wouldn't mind if held onto mcgeady, until Christmas anyway. Then if the money recieved is put back into the team it gives Lennon another 6months to gel the team and identify which areas needs improved and who can be brought in to play there.

If he IS sold, we should mabe push the boat out and try and get gallas in along with another goalscorer and a goalscoring midfielder with the 12m.

 

I would rather we forget about campbell and sign ramis for a million then use the rest of the money on a quality CF someone who can score in the CL

I like the fact that we are still looking for players. There needs to be some shipped out though. We are gonna have a huge squad. Maybe Sammy, Hinkel, Sheridan, Loovens and 1 other could go.

But im really pleases with transfer dealings so far. Hope to get all three quoted

 

we defo need 2 more players for the CL match we need a ST more than anything for them 2 games.....

We'll sign a striker before the Braga game and I reckon Hooper will be the man.

 

I think the priority has to be an experienced defender (campbell or gallas on a free), then a goalscoring striker (hooper AND keane/bellamy), and also a goalscoring midfielder and possibly (whittingham) and a lb (Koncheski).

All of these would be possible with the sale of mcgeady and hinkel and a few other surplus squad players imo.

 

Hooper will be signed tomorrow i think but i doubt Campbell or James will. I'm happy with that as i think with a good striker we will get through as the rest of our tea is good enough for Braga

 

the championship woud say on par with spl, the boy is young, and scores goals for fun, so if can do it for a poor side in championship, imagine what he can do with better players around him, think it a awesome signing capturing him, as we know he scores for fun, plays in a good league but with poor side, so its a promising one

 

Interesting that Celtic don't want to meet Scunthorpe's valuation of 2m for Hooper, while we were fine spending it on Murphy...
