    Nothing odd about it.

I've met him - he was an arrogant *.

Very much in contrast to Joe Ledley - who is an absolute gentleman.

You'd think that some of you actually forget these players are people outside of Celtic - aye, and that means that some of them are actually arseholes as well.

Sorry if that offends your baby-ears

So based on the subjective anecdote of someone that highlights the fact he is from Essex - which is just as irrelevant as a Celtic player being from Glasgow, Dublin, Belfast or wherever - about Hooper not being completely 100% friendly in a nightclub or whever it may be, we should believe that his attitude is worthy of him being sold? I'll take the opinion of Neil Lennon and the players who work with Hooper every day over yours any day of the week, with all due respect.

That wasn't actually aimed at you by the way (even though it DOES look that way), was meant for the other two :smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002::icon_mrgreen:

Awww, he's tried the kid thing again. How desperate. :56:

So you 'encountered' him once, and Gary wasn't nice to poor little Paddy. :54::54::54: Awww, everyone stop liking big bad Gary Hooper because he wouldn't give Padmill the time of day. :56: To be honest, if I was being swarmed by lowlifes I'd make a dash for it.

Ouch. How will I ever recover. You seem like such a well informed, credible and intelligent human being who doesn't use subjective anecdotes to make a generalising statement. Ach well, I'll get over it.

    :50:

You ask one person what Hooper's like off the field, they'll tell you he's a gent. Ask another, he'll say the opposite.

EDIT: As I typed, celtic 1967 proved my point.

Subjective anecdotes indeed. I mean, let's face it. All Padmill's story tells us is that Gary blanked a guy who invents German internet personas. :56: He's gone up in my book.

I'm sure if Paddy McCourt insulted him, he'd kiss his feet and ask him to beg Lawwell to let him stay.

Anyway back on topic. It'll be interesting to see how the negotiations with Hooper develop over the coming few days.

As Paddy mentioned earlier, these guys are people outside of Celtic, they have their own lives, they have their bad days and their good days like all of us. Chances are some people may catch him on a good day and some may catch him on a bad day. Football players can't be gentleman all the time, I think the fame would even get to me on certain days and I love attention.

I tell you what, if Gary Hooper went round pretending to be a German called Wilhelm Kuntz and accusing Tony Watt of having 'baby ears,' then I might think of him as a wee fud. :56:
