I dont know if any of you watched that semi final, but Caldwell was shocking. I cringe watching this guy. Dont know how many hospital balls he played to his team-mates. He is dreadful!
I've watched him a few times this year and he has no composure at all. What is Strachan thinking! And please dont say hes a good squad player to have cos honestly, we must have a dozen youngsters better than this dumplin!

I did say I've watched him a few times this season. And he has been *. Plus I know a few people that are season ticket holders for hibs and they say he is one of their worst players they have.
Open your eyes, he isnt celtic quality! -

Give the guy a break, he hasn't even played in the hoops yet & already you are slaughtering him!
Wait until he has played a few games for us then judge him!
Hail Hail -
What is? Henry, Lampard, Gerard......Maybe Pele in his prime.
Think about it, The guy hasn't even kicked a ball in training and you are on his back. I for one will give him a chance, If he then plays * I'll join you in slagging him off!!! -

he rated highly enough for GS to sign him
did you rate juninho as "celtic quality" before he played for us?
give him a chance -
I don't like his attitude - unlike Wilson who has said all the right things and appears level-headed and grateful, Caldwell seems to think he is a great player, and based on his performances since the announcement hes been shocking, not good enough for the Hibees never mind Celtic. Mowbray may not be too concerned letting him go at this rate, and although i am happy with the shrewdness of the signings Wilson and Miller, i certainly hope Caldwell is the calibire of player to hold off Hearts and Rangers for the future, never mind the Champions League

I didn't see all of the Hearts V Hibs game but from what i seen it looked like Caldwell was playing out of position was he not?....Maybe his minds just off the ball a wee bit because he know's he's on the move in the summer......
I'll save judgement for when i see him in the Hoops :50: -

I watched him a few times for hibs this season and havent been all that impressed with him but will give him a chance when he pulls on the hoops, assuming he will put virgo further down the pecking order then?

I feel similar in regards to seeing Caldwell a few times with Hibs this season, he is not all that good, maybe an average player, but certainly can play fitba better than Balde, in fact if he doesnt get his place at Celtic before Balde then he aint average, he is RANK! :84:

People underestimate the job bobo does for the club. This was highlighted when he went to the African nations. He might not be the best with the ball at his feet but he is a brilliant athlete and is the best defender we have.
-
Caldwell played on the right side of midfield yesterday so its harsh to judge him in a defensive context.
-
What Bobo does to opponents before the game has even started - imagine standing next to that guy in the tunnel hows that for intimidation - that matters most. Caldwell will get a chance but am not being pessimistic saying i dont think he is good enough, just honest in what a feel. However it isnt really a gamble for Celtic, as he is free on low wages and could maybe be sold for a small fee off his reputation at Hibs if things don't work out. I hope it dus - i just cant see it
-
he seems a decent player, but as others are saying, give him a chance ffs.
-
na i have to admit ive watched him more closely since celtic signed him and i have to admit that he is absolutely shocking. his delivery is dire, his tackling is rash. ive seen him play 2 short back passes which strikers got onto and scored from. hes conceding 4 penalties since the pre contract agreement. dire.

of course he is goin 2 be crap if he is playin with crap players, when he comes 2 celtic he will have quality players round him. so i 4 1 will give him a chance
-
When he arrives at CP we should give him 100% support, same with Miller. Whether he delivers or not only time will tell but we should give our full backing and support to the players and give them a chance before crucifying them.
-
na id say caldwell continously lets down the good players at hibs. he continues to undo the good work made by players like brown, thomson, riordan
