  2. Exactly what I was thinking. Do I want to binge on the first four episodes and then have to wait a month to see a new episode? Especially after waiting a year for the new season to start :31: Think I'll just watch the first episode and wait for the rest, this is going to be torture haha

  4. These 4 have went up a day before its out so when will the next 4 be realised could easily have the full thing up by next week it's a risk

  5. First 4 episodes of season 5 are on Showbox. I'll just be watching it week by week though. Love having something great to look forward to every week.

    GOT I actually watch on my tv as well, unlike everything else which I just stream. I've got Sky+ so just record it so I can fast forward through the adverts.

    A show like this needs to be watched on a bigger screen than a laptop imo.

  10. It's not even close. Comparing The Walking Dead to this is like comparing Ian Black to Scott Brown.

    Game of Thrones is in a league of its own. But how the * does the biggest show in the world leak four episodes?? I'm baffled by it.

  11. Screeners get sent out to reviewers, often nowadays multiple episodes so reviewers have a better idea of where the show is going. Someone leaked the screener versions (which is why there won't be any HD upgrades coming till the actual episodes air). In this case it was the first four episodes of the series, so there will be no more leaks.

    I've caved already and downloaded the first one and it looks decent enough on the laptop screen, so will be tuning into all four tonight.

  12. :56: talk * mate, The Walking Dead absolute kills Game Of Thrones in tv ratings, which says a lot. It * murdes it, GOT isn't in the same league as TWD as far tv ratings go. TWD has broke all sorts of records. Which just shows your in the miniorty and most people prefer The Walking Dead.

    Me personally I love both but definetly prefer GOT, but again, am in the miniorty like yourself.

  13. There both class you'll unlucky be disappointed with either, there very different form each other.

    The Walking Dead is the most watched tv show out so you may want to go with that first

  14. How many people watch Towie or Geordie Shore ffs?

    Game of Thrones is clearly the better tv programme, regardless of ratings

    Many people are put off by the whole fantasy tag anyway

  17. A would imagine no a lot watch it. A would guess around as little as 700,000 watch an episode of Geordie Shore.

    Going by Wiki, the highest watched episode of Game Of Thrones is 7m. The Walking Dead gets nearly double that every episode.

    Whether you think GOT is the better show or not, what is clear is most people prefer TWD as a * load more people watch it.

  18. Well the total number of viewers counts for nothing - HBO is subscription-based, plus it's the most pirated TV show around.

    In any case, Game of Thrones is better than The Walking Dead in every single department. I've considered a number of times to give up on The Walking Dead because, as most people who watch it will know, every single season (other than the first) there's a least 4 or 5 pish/average episodes where nothing happens. Game of Thrones always has several storylines going on at the same time, so something is always happening to progress the plot.

    Not the be all and end all but you can see by looking at their IMDB ratings which is the better show. Game of Thrones has a 9.5 while TWD has 8.7 (which I think is extremely generous).

    Isn't HBO not just recently subscription based, like in the last 6 months?

    I think ratings tells the whole story. Its not like 1 or 2 million people more are watching The Walking Dead over Game Of Thrones. Its like 7 or 8 million more. That is * massive!

    As far as I'm concerned, The Walking Dead has way more fans.


    Can't wait for this tomorrow, just reading there Bran and Hodor will not be in season 5 at all since there characters have caught up way the books. As has most of the show, so they'll be a few surprises to even the book readers.

  20. Season 4 finale spoiler

    Anyone think the Hound may still be alive? A hope so he was great. He was about to die but we didn't actually see him die/dead.
