A hated his character but even then a was praying wee joffers survived because his character was great in the show.

Great surprise though, totally shocked. A would hate to have read the books before watching this as you wouldn't have got the same shock as people who didn't expect it in scenes like this or the wedding last season or when Stark got his nut chopped off.

 

Did he not get left behind with the Wildling girl? I remember him greeting and Bran saying he had to leave him for his safety. He'll probably come back into it at some point. Surely the Starks will make a proper come back.

 

You might be right. So much happening that you forget stuff.

 

Rickon went with Osha. Safer to keep the two keys to the north as far apart as possible. And since Bran is going somewhere very dangerous, Rickon's been sent away

Didn't really like that episose very much. Just thought it was overly dramatic seemed like they were trying too hard.

Even though Joffrey was a great character, I'm glad to see the back of him. It's going to be very interesting finding out who did it, I'm guessing either Lady Olenna or Prince Oberyn (although that seems unlikely). Jaime Lannister is such a good character as well, it's amazing to compare him to the Jaime of season 1. He looks completely different and seems like a whole new character. I'm delighted Tyrion's story is picking up a bit now.

What a show.

 

Just off seeing people say it was a great ending. Like I say i'd been a little disappointed up until then and that seemed like something that would cause that reaction.

That's Jack Gleeson (Joffrey) retired from acting now. Saying he wasn't enjoying it anymore and wants to pursue a different career. Fair play to him, turning his back on the lucrative money from acting. He was phenomenal on the show.

 

There are no words to explain the * that post spoilers on Facebook. I was going to start season two tonight and binge to catch up, don't really feel like it now.
