Im starting to make guesses now. I reckon Jon Snow is royalty and Ned covered it up to protect him. Either the son of Robert or the son of the ousted king.

It sets the tone for the rest of the show but. It shows no one is safe and they will kill anyone

Lol good to hear, there quite a good few that if killed a would be gutted, specially John Snow.

Just finished episode 2 of season 2. A pervert who marrys and shags his own daughters just left a baby (his own son) in the woods and Snow is away in in to investigate. Someone/thing picked the baby up.

Was tempted to carry on the next episode to see who but am shattered, just have to wait till tomorrow.

Can't wait for Season 4 to start.

Out of interest, in he lead up of S4, Rob Cesternino is doing a series of S3 ep recap podcasts as they watch an ep per day in the build up for S4 Premiere, then do S4 recaps each week. Same as he does for a lo of other shows, including Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Walking Ded etc, in addition to the bread and butter of Survivor, BB, TAR etc. Always worth a listen. Cant think of the name of his site where the GoT podcasts are found but should find links on robhasawebsite & robhasapodcast.

You're pretty much at the same point as me. Watched season 2 ep 3 tonight. Another good one - Arya is good in it. Gutted though, my girlfriend is away for work all week and banned me from watching it until she gets back.

Read the Red Wedding in season 3 is brutal. Refuse to read more about it though.

She's not that good at working the On Demand, so she'll give up and watch a Disney film. :56:

Gah. I can't get back in love with the franchise, especially when the next book is more than a year away (if not longer). I'm very tempted to start re-watching or re-reading, but I know this will only make things worse. :54:

That's great, but I'm no sure what that has to do with me asking what she does for a living:smiley-laughing002:

The next books not for another year? A would a thought all the books would have been well finished years ago and that's why there now making the tv show.

Nope. The TV show has almost caught up, already, and very soon it's going to ruin the whole experience. The last book felt rushed and a mish-mash of events, as well.

Ah that's a bit *. A wonder if the tv show catches up and then takes over the books, would the books then copy what the tv show has done like the tv show has with the books:smiley-laughing002: I've read the makers of this show are wanting at least 8 seasons.

Just moving onto S2E6. Love this new character, Brienne. Big woman, * handy with a sword.

A hate that wee Theon * or the guy that actually plays the character. A hope the Starks catch him and then Rob and the rest of the wolf gang * rape him!

Alfie Allen, Keith Allen's son, hence the natural air of cuntyness. Helps make the character even more dislikeable.
