Why’s Tormund wanting to take the people back up north? They like the cold, but it’s still cold in Winterfell. Couldn’t Jon offer him an empty castle? Make him a lord? Instead he gets a hug and a dog with one ear.

Ive read the leaks and to be honest im looking forward to the fallout and aftermath more than the actual conclusion to the story (or whats left of it). Not sure if this comment deserves a spoiler tag or not

 

I just think GRRM can’t find his pens under all that money.

 

I much preferred the wee look at each other to say goodbye. Although the * did lose an ear for him, at least call him a good boy.

 

If thats the main story of the show they should then it would be good to end like Daenerys kills Cersei then Sansa kills Daenerys then have Jon Snow turn on Sansa and murder her and then he is the one left as the King but hes lost everything as his pals have all * off anyway and maybe also reveal Arya wasnt the real Arya.

 

Less about the goodbye, more to do with how they've completely shafted the wolves over the series because they'd rather spend money on cool set pieces (like a giant lifting Lyanna right in front of it's eye so she could kill it, or a zombie polar bear).

 

Mate I'm not even kidding. I can't think of a worse ending.

 

I want there to be some kind of point to the ending, either past pals and family turn on each other or they all die like maybe by using the green slime stuff that blew up the city a few seasons ago or they think they beat Cersei or she thinks she beats them then the dead come back again and finish everyone off.

The point being that we're all gonnae die anyway and theres nothing we can do or that power just destroys society or humans destoryed themselves(if they use the slime stuff to blow everything up).


I don't want some * ending where the good guys or bad guys win. There should be no winner, I also want Jon Snow to turn out a bad guy in the end.

 

Does anyone think it would have been better set up for an ending if Cersei, Daenerys and Sansa were totally different styles of character who wanted to implement different things and it had more undertones of Politics where they'd be like extreme opposites of each other but you could see their points in their own way. Then you had Jon Snow as the outsider who didn't really care or want the power.

If it was set up like that then most people would be on a team and supporting one of them wanting them to win but I feel like Cersei, Daenerys and Sansa have all merged into one style of character where you can't really trust any of them and they all seem power hungry so you don't really care what was to happen.

 

Should just end it like the sopranos the meltdown online would be incredible to watch.

perhaps they should have quit after we found out John snow was the son of rhaegar and lyanna as it seems to have been the pinnacle of the show(or at least had huge pause )as it's heading to a pointless ending

 

Don't think Sansa gives a * about the throne. She's happy in the north.

 

I havent seen the Sopranos but I would like some kind of weird twist ending just for the meltdown.

I feel like theres not going to be any kind of good pay off of an ending anyway at this point I dont really care about the characters like in the past seasons, at one point I feel you hated some characters and really liked others but charecterisation has disappeared the last 2-3 seasons even Cersei isnt 10% of the character of Joffrey who you were choking to see done in.

Imagine it just ending with a big asteroid clattering the earth as it's about to come to a conclusion

 

Aye. The significance of them. They are on the Stark sigil, for a start. In the books they are all bonded to their owners i.e. Jon and Ghost, Bran and Summer, Rickon and Shaggydog. They were significant at times in the earlier seasons - Ghost saving Sam, Gilly and Jon at times. Summer saving Bran and Catelyn etc.

Just think it's a shame they've used the CGI budget on things like zombie giants and zombie polar bears (because they look cool), instead of the wolves who have/should have a bond with some of our favourite characters.

 

Those things are far easier to make with CGI, there’s no real comparison. They’ve went down that route because they just don’t have the budget to do it consistently. They look decent enough but still weird as *, totally brings you out the immersion when you see them.
