I thought this was a good episode, sets up for the next two perfectly and makes second guess who's getting the iron throne at the end

Twice, the dragon part why didnt they shoot her from the boats.

Then that tiny wee army of about 100 people outside the castle, they way people acted before they'd have all been dead in 2 minutes.

 

Seriously annoyed at the last 2 episodes to the point its actually spolied the show for me. 8 seasons of build up ruined because of the horrendous writing. Nonsensical plans , little to no payoff for main plot points(some that have been present SINCE THE * FIRST EPISODE), the overused tv tropes creeping into the show ( like characters not talking to each other to build faux tension) i can go on and on.

 

A problem I had with it is...

How did Varys know Cersei has all the civilians inside the Red Keep to try to prevent Dany from just torching the place? It showed Cersei allowing them through the gates, then the next scene Varys told Dany about it.

Who the * told him?

 

The writing has fallen off a cliff in this series and I worry the ridiculous way they handled the whole NK/WW story has ruined a huge part of the show.

Having said that, this episode was the best in the current season imo, not that that’s saying much. The first half was terrible, the second half felt more vintage GoT though.

Dany and Jon really don’t deserve to sit on the throne though. Almost every decision she’s made since arriving in Westeros has been terrible, and Jon is basically just a loyal idiot. Even Tyrion should be dracarys’d for sheer ineptitude at this stage. Varys is the guy who should sit on the iron throne; smashing gender stereotypes in the process.

 

I have a lot of sympathy for Dany’s madness. She might have a touch of it about her, but she’s being advised by absolute retards and her army is led by absolute retards. She was so much more successful when she listened less ironically, in most of the earlier seasons, until she landed on Westeros.

 

Starting to wish the show would just get it over with now. Everything feels like an anticlimax after last week's ep.

 

Glad it kicked into action because the first 45 mins was awful.
I like Bronn, why has he been more or less written out of this series? There could have been a decent storyline there.
Tyrion has turned into a * idiot that thinks he can talk Cersei round with all that “you love your kids talk”- ridiculous.
Worried about the way this series is heading.

 

Thought that was a great episode again tbh.

 

Never really been one to nitpick at things in this and usually just go with it but the writing has become so poor that however this ends it just won’t feel fulfilling

 

Completely * the series up with this pony boy *, so and so getting together oh how predictable.

big massive reveal-Let's cut away and show absolutely no reaction to the news.

Everyone loses a loved one so they show pain, erm half you * crying over someone you love being dead should also be dead but plot armour now exists.

The best tacticians in all the world on * face targcunts team and they're absolutely dumb as *.

Writing is * chronic, did a 12 year old fortnite infested coat hanger pen the script? Absolutely *

Not sure who died the easiest- the night king or the dragon.
Both been built up and built up over 7 seasons and then killed by a girl with a small dagger and a couple of arrows from a fancy crossbow.
