    Bit difficult to go back and pick up a 100 tonne dragon from the bottom of a frozen lake surrounded by an army of hundreds of thousands of zombies. I'm guessing that's probably why.

    The whole food shortage issue seems to have just disappeared along with Gendry.
    Visually spectacular and exciting these days but the writing is far worse than earlier seasons.

    The whole Little-Finger outcome was very well done - you just knew that one of those three (Sansa, Arya or him) wasn't going to make it out of the finale intact! Maybe not completely unexpected conclusion but the way they arrived there was excellent, doing enough to make you think it was going one way ........

    Agreed. The subtleties aren't there anymore. It's now blockbuster stuff. Doesn't help that they have no books to go on now.

    What a season that was. My only small gripe is there was no big reveal or twist in the finale.

    The execution at winterfall granted and JL heading north but everything else has already been spelt out for us.

    Anyway, can't wait for the next series. Especially if we're hearing all episodes will be feature length.
