    People in America support Chelsea and an Irishman form Dublin supports Man Utd I don't see the problem?! As long as they don't start saying things like they support Utd for their Irish links that always makes me laugh when Irish people like my uncle who is a Leeds fan does this to try and make up for his guilt of being an Irishman that hates England that supports an English team. People should give up the guilt and the chip on their shoulders it's football for * sake and modern football at that.

    No obviously not. Scotland is a foreign country and the spl is a foreign league. I never said Celtic weren't a Irish club. I don't have a problem with people following who they want.

    I hope you're wrong, mate; but suspect you're right. :54:

    Why should they start an argument because someone (correctly) stated that we're an Irish club? I just don't get this argument that always pops up, mate. Celtic are an Irish club; they're also a Scottish club. As someone (unfortunately I forget who) brilliantly summarised: we're called Celtic for a reason. Why on earth do we argue about this? It's like some people think you can only be one or the other.

    I know you're right, though. It'll kick off again.

    We're a Scottish club with Irish links/heritage. That doesn't make us Irish. At all. I was born in Scotland. Why the * would I support an Irish club?
