  1. No doubt. Indeed, the whole 'these things even themselves out over the course of a season' is complete & utter nonsense. I can't comment on the 'Macarthur (non) goal today, but this season has been a bit of a mockery of the sense of fair play & impartiality.

He made an attept to jump for the ball so he interfered with play.

Thus offside was the right call.

  2. Not got a link, watched it on P2P4u, the player who was offside was on the penalty spot and not interfering with play, the ball got crossed in and went way over his head to McArthur, the rests history.

  3. Youre having a laff!!!!:38:

  4. i can be non bias and that but he was defo on side 100%

  5. if this was any other league in the world there would be pandemonium:31:

  6. Naw i just don't change the rules to suit my agenda nor do i allow myself to be led by newspaper headlines.

He made an attempt to win the ball.. The linesman isn't to know whether he will touch it or not. All he knows is that he's interfered with play from an offisde position so its offside.

I'm sure you didn't care about the masons in black when Rangers got a goal chopped off for exactly the samething against Aberdeen did you?

McArthur was defo onside but thats not the issue here..

  7. someones bound to be able to get a link so we can al see it

  8. Were all entitled to our opinion but yours seems to be a lone voice, Real radio, Radio Clyde, Radio Scotland pundits all concur that the goal should have stood. Even Jock Brown who was commentating on the match agreed that it should have stood.

  9. It's quite funny because the majority of you're posts have been regarding Rangers. Defending them most of the time and today you seem desperate to defend the decision to chop off Hamiltons goal in various threads.

Can smell you a mile away :bbpd:

  10. 100% i was just going to say that mate:50:

  12. Im not taking a stance on this as i havent seen the incident today but you dont have to touch the ball to interfere with play

  13. Spot on.

  14. that will be sweet to they cretins mate i can assure you!

  15. No but you have to make a motion towards the ball to be interfering, which he did not.

  16. Whats your point? To be honest it's a different situation as Benitez doesn't really interfere with play.. He's just standing in an offside position. The defenders aren;t even tracking him..

Today the Hamilton player made an attempt to jupm for the ball.. the linesman isn't to know if the player will make contact or not. All he can see is that an offside player has made an attempt to make contact with a ball from an offside position. (the ball just went over the Hamilton players head)

  18. Seems there are plenty who want to claim the goal should have been allowed without even seeing the incident, funny old game eh ....
