Because fraser just doesnt instill me with confidence, he punches the ball away too often, isnt dominating for a man his size and takes too long to get down IMO. I think hes a decent enough keeper, but I would prefer somebody else.

I think his punching has been a real feature of his game this season, lets be honest better keepers than Forster punch the ball.

Too long to get down would be my only criticism but that's to be expected with a guy his size.

If he can keep improving on the other aspects of his game like he has been doing then I'll forgive him that one flaw :86:

    Not necessarily true.

Walking across to the hun hordes, Champions flag in hand after we wrap up the league at the shitpit in March, will suffice! :celt_2:

P.s. Good to see you back! :50:

He's putting his stock up every week. I'd nip in and buy him now. His price will only rise.

Do we not have the option of signing him permanently anyway? I heard we did.

depends on price. Worth 1-2 million. Not worth 3 or 4 million IMO. I would still rather we signed a better keeper but kept him too.

    This.

I have been impressed by how the big man has been performing the last few games especially in Italy but I still think we could be doing a lot better. I still have nerves when he has a backpass to deal with or coming out for a corner. Tbf he has improved his reactions which were * awful at the start of the season. But he is still young and has a lot to learn yet.

Gordon made his comeback yesterday. Im pretty sure he will return to the

world-class form he was on before his run of injuries. We need a top

quality keeper at Celtic, sadly Forster is not in that class.

Last season I'd have said no tbh. Now its a yes. His attitudes clearly brilliant - he must be taking on board more or less everything the coaches do with him because his improvement overall in the last few months has been nothing short of amazing :50:

theirs an option to purchase him for 2 million in his loan agreement :50:

for me its a no brainer, the big guy has excelled this year and last. he's had a handful of dodgy games but what keeper wouldnt over the course of a season and a half?

he represents good value at 2 million imo.

Absolutely. Always liked him, got * off at him vs Rennes and called for Zaluska to play instead but that was in the heat of the moment :52:

be crazy not to sign him for two million at the end of the season imo judging by the form and improvements he has shown this year

    bags of potential there

If he can keep up his rich vein of form, then yes!

Yes, IF he maintains his progress for the rest of the season. Even last season though not brilliant he and the defence set a new UK clean sheet record. He was a year younger and it was his first ever very high pressured season.

I think people forget his age because of his size.

I remember your good self in the Victor Wanyama thread:icon_mrgreen:.I agree he's got a lot to learn but he's improving all the time, his shot stopping is his best ability, has to learn to catch the ball from corners more rather than punching the ball away, but all that will come.2 mil is a steal i think.

I think he's done very well and is improving all the time ,we are not going to do any better in the present climate.
