Forster has admitted that the goal was his fault.

I still don't see how, the most basic thing you are ever taught as a defender "Don't pass back between the sticks"

I know Stan Collymore blamed Cha and not Forster.

Good shot stopper, doesn't take command of his area enough though. Makes stupid errors at times, should have saved Davis' shot against them in the CIS cup final. I think Zaluska should get the nod personally, he's did good whenever called upon(which is rarely) and he really wants to prove himself. He celebrated when we scored against Aberdeen, showed some passion, unlike some.

Come on fella... Cha played the ball towards Forsters right foot and although slightly wide, Forster should have been able to make the clearance.

It wasn't Cha's fault that Forster had transferred his weight onto his left peg at that exact moment (only he knows why) and is so immobile that he couldn't recover!

    Forsters fault all the way!

Cha passed it back, between the sticks, while not looking.

That's a cardinal sin, Forster wasn't blameless but * me that is worse than schoolboy defending.

Forster, and Cha both showed a bit of character to make up for their howler on Thursday. In recent matches, the heads might have went down. On Thursday it didnt and both players helped get us back into the match.

Thats a positive we should probably take. Thrusday could be a changing point for us. The players celebration at the goal was telling. They looked as if they were in it together.

An defender should never pass a ball back that could end up in their own net, I agree that Fraser made a total mess of the clearance, but the worse that should have happened was a corner.
Neither the two of them made a attempt to clear this ball, and that * me off. We gifted them a point, when they didn't show up till the last 5 mins.

Hope you're right. The plus points have been few and far between this season so the team really need to string a few wins together, possibly even in spite of the manager, in order to boost confidence.

why the * we didnt sign Pletikosa is beyond me , a keeper with loads of experience i think zaluska is terrible and foster is just ok he isnt as commanding as he should be * this notion hes young and will come good in time we need a solid keeper now and i dont think he is up to it to buy him at the end of the year would be madness imo

Zaluska isn't terrible, just not great. Pletikosa sounded promising but didn't really impress on his trial. I doubt if Forster will be signed permanently either.
We aren't blessed with good keepers at the mo. I recall an era when we had Packie, Shay Given and Stewart Kerr on the books, all good keepers.:celt_2:

I can't undrstand the negativity surrounding the big guy. I think he's a good big keeper who will only get better with time. He's twice the keeper that McGregor was at the same age.

We should be buying him with an eye to the future but supplementing the purchase with Craig Gordon on a Bosman as the number one choice. In two or three years time we'll have two world class keepers on the books if this were to come true.

Sorry mate but i don't think you know much about goalkeeping. Forster is very average.

He is an OK goal line stopper of shots at a height but he really is totally beaten by any low shots or need to move about on his feet. Just not the right build IMO. Lumbering. I would like to see Zaluska on a long run now. He really has never had long enough IMO.

A normal build goalie like Boruc would have scrambled back and clawed the ball away. I even wonder if Cha (whose only quality is his great speed) could maybe have caught it himself if he hadnt stood there looking stupid.

I used to be a good sprinter when i was young and when i played as a goalkeeper in college, it * me off how slow some defenders were. Agree about Cha, that goal was completely preventable, either Cha or FF should have made an effort, not much pace on the ball.
