ridiculous that you can say this, when he's made one mistake in his time at celtic this season, against the huns,

and i dont feel his kicking has been too bad of late.

a lot of people don't think about what they are saying. He is/was 3rd choice there because of his age and inexperience, not ability reasons/problems. They have an experienced first choice, then another keeper who is back-up to him who has much more top experience than Forster. He will get there.

Have to say, he done ok when called upon, but the cleansheets is all to do with the battling in the middle and our defenders

 

If yous are buzzzin off forster, shows the standard of football at parkhead has dropped big time

Just remember that there is 10 players in front of him who make mistakes constantly but get overlooked but being a keeper his mistakes get more noticed but i think im right in saying that this is only the 2 nd thread on him giving him a dig ,,must be doing something right.

 

I'm sorry but you clearly are an imposter, have you been watching Celtic recently ? The standard of football has not dropped it has blossomed !

 

Love how your example of him not being up to scratch is from 3 and a half months ago. 2 goals conceded in our last 9 and you think Forster is *? Some people are never happy. Don't see why there's any need for a thread like this after another top class performance.

Can you name an instance other than the 1st OF game where he's made a mistake?

 

I think on many games the big lad has saved us at vital points within this season ,Yet people are more than happy to dig up past * mistakes get a grip and * back the big man he has been * fantastic and can only improve .

 

why?, we have a solid keeper who has made 1 mistake in his celtic career, a goal which could have still been prevented with some half decent defending, boruc was spectacular yes, but we were always gonna struggle to replace him fully, and also forster isnt a mistake prone as boruc was

 

So everyones happy hes our no1 ? Im shocked

 

Forster has shown concentration levels most goalkeepers could only dream of. He's had nothing to do for massive spells in matches and has always been ready when called upon, he made another couple of good saves tonight and gained yet another clean-sheet.

His kicking would be my only gripe but there's plenty time for improvement.

Away and boil yer heid! The boy has looked solid recently, not looked nervous at all and has made some great saves. My only criticism of him has been that I dot think he comes for crosses very well but recently he's not been too bad at that either. Are people forgetting how young he is? If the way he is playing at the moment is any indication of how good he will be in the future then he'll be a star.

 

I can tell you 1 thing the big lad has not made half the mistakes Boruc did in a season while * around , Take it he was not good enough to be here either according to you ?

Back the lad he has did nothing wrong and keeps us in it even tonight while it was only 1 nil he kept us in the * game ,

Hamilton at home this season he kept us in the game at half time without him we would have been at least 3 down , instead we went in 1 down and went on to win the game .

Standard has got lower than say 10 year ago, but you still support your team. 2 years ago we wouldn't have wanted the likes of stokes but he bangs the goals in ffs. and this guy does the job. what do you want, an attacking goalkeeper?

 

Why ?

Forster is the best goalkeeper we have had since Boruc was our No.1
I am not going to say Forster is as good as Boruc yet as it will * Markybhoy69 off big time.But if Forster keeps this up....
