Boruc but only just, if big Fraser keeps improving the way he has done over the past 18 months he can be as good as, or even better than Boruc.

See what Forster is like with mcmanus, caldwell & naylor for his defence. Boruc so much better.

I think it is quite easy to remember the mistakes Boruc made, and there was a few to be fair. But he was a great keeper, when he was in his best form, he was one of the best keepers in Europe for me. It's a tough one, anyone picking Forster, is picking him based on a 6 month period, although it has been a brilliant 6 month, does it mean he is better than Boruc, I wouldn't say so. Not yet anyway.

There was a period in Boruc's career where he was world class, definitely. Then there was a period where he was overweight and * up on a regular basis.

Forster has been consistently good for us, with some world class performances in there. I'm not entirely sure if he's up there with Boruc when he was at his best but some of his performances have been outstanding and he definitely has the potential to be recognized as world class eventually.

I actually think he's already as good as Boruc was the more I think about it. It's close.

I hate Boruc being called a legend, the support backed him through thick and thin and he was a * to throw it back in our faces, by becoming overweight and throwing football out the window.

He had a lot of problems in his personal life at one stage. And it was one bad season out of five, I can remember countless games when he saved us from defeat or disaster, so he is a legend in my eyes.

I think we both know it wasn't one bad season.

Boruc has admitted himself he was lazy, there is absolutely no excuse for that when the supporters treated him better than any player in the squad, he was constantly backed from the supporters - his name was chanted at almost every game. He let his team-mates, the club and supporters down.

He may have had personal problems but the fact remains he was drinking too much, eating too much and generally not giving a * about the football, if you could find something that happened in his life to justify acting like that while playing for a club he supposedly loves, enlighten me.

No way in * can he be considered a legend IMO.

Boruc was a legend, people overstate his dip in form. Even his last season here under Mowbray he was still excellent.

Boruc at the moment. But if Forster continues to improve then he can be better.

Given that he was absolutely world class during his own run to the last 16, and Euro 2008, then yes he could have. Easily.

Nice to see the holy goalie is still getting the recognition he deserves from a sizeable amount in the poll. Definitely in my top 5 favourite Celts.

I can't choose. I think big Artur was easily one of the top 3 keepers in the world from 06-08 but his last two seasons soured my opinion of him. Forster was nowhere near as bad as people said he was in his first season, I always knew he'd turn into a brilliant keeper. I am delighted we got him and hope he stays for years but something about how good Artur was on the European nights, you almost wanted the opposition to fire shots at him just to watch him make great saves. The one he made against Benfica away in 2007, the save from Telfer's backwards header at Old Trafford, the number of saves he made in the last 16 against Milan.

I feel like Forster's best days are still 5 years in the future and I hope that he continues to get better but right now from the best I've seen from both of them Boruc just had an aura when he was at his best. A truly world class keeper for 2 or 3 seasons, whereas Forster is not quite at that level but is round about it.

I guess I'm saying Boruc for now but fully expect Forster to get better and surpass him whether he stays here or not. Boruc reached his peak whilst he was here which might tip things in his favour in the future though.

Easily Forster in my opinion, far more consistent.

I agree that Boruc's dip in form is being overstated. He had blunders here and there throughout his career here and had one season when he wasn't quite up to scratch, but that aside there was a time when he was in the top 3 or so keepers in Europe, maybe in the world. Some of my favourite memories following us are solely down to him and I could never think of him badly because of that.

In saying that, Forster has the potential to be better, and over the last couple of seasons has reached an amazing level on consistency, so it is definitely a tough choice. I myself have gone for the Holy Goalie.

Both fine keepers, but for me Forster has the edge.
