McCourt and Forrest are great we must let both of them play this season

He looked good in pre-season and clearly he is very much a part of the first team squad now. Not in the starting 11 yet but at 19 years old looks very promising. Should have killed the game off for us when he came on missing that cut back from Fortune. Then was unlucky with 2 great long range hits. It will be interesting to see how he does as the season moves along. But clearly we are in good shape on the left side of our midfield with McCourt, Maloney and Forrest.

Forrest definitely looks quality, McCourt scored a belter, and Maloney was our best player today.

I honestly can't fathom why anyone would think we need to buy a replacement for McGeady.
That area of the field is totally our strongest suit.

If only we had ONE keeper with the quality of any of them...

Seeing more and more of him now and getting more impressed with every minute. Seems to have leapfrogged the coming back from injury McGinn in the pecking order now.

Not amazing dribbling and not amazingly fast but seems to have an intelligent head on him positioning wise and a wicked right peg. Shame about that tap in but it was a fast paced cut back on a bobbly surface. 2 excellent long rangers though.

I think we'll see him coming off the bench regularly this season but starts will always be restricted to cup games...

Him and McCourt on each wing or switch it with Maloney on the other side will cause some damage for this season :icon_mrgreen:

Have said before that McGeady is my uncles nephew and well Aidan said that Forrest is going to be a great player and that he has it all. A bit off topic but he also said that Rogne is the worst centre back at the club and that he's easily beat and slow. Apparently Loovens has the most pace of them all..... Shocks me I have to say.

Looks a very good player and hopefully he keeps his head out of the clouds. Also with the under 21 rule for subs we now have a player that is going to make a diffirence and not just warm the bench because they have to be there.

Delighted that Lennon isn't scared to throw him in there. As long as hes getting 20-30 mins each game for this half of the season im pleased.

What a player. I really think he could be our next McGeady. In fact, he seems to be a much better passer and crosser, so he may be even better. His finishing is better than Aiden's was towards the end of his time with us as well. I hate how a lot of people seem to be putting a lot of pressure on him tho..... He's still a work in progress! I think he needs room to breathe! When he scored on his debut against Motherwell it reminded me of when Aiden scored during his debut....

I think Lennon is taking a similar approach as Moyes did with Rooney......
Not launching him straight in at the deep end and giving him a chance to settle in...

I'd be surprised if Forrrest is not starting regularly at the end of the season

Most excited I've been about a player coming through the academy since McGeady. He looks like he has got the talent to become a top player :50:
