I think I've been harsh on James in the past. If he wasn't injured so often he'd be one of the first names on our teams sheet and a star player by now. Hope for his sake he can overcome the injuries. As I've said before, surely in the year 2015 you can give him a big * x-ray thing, check all his wee ligaments and muscles and other bodily * and check whats going wrong. We can send men into space but canny figure out why wee Jamesy keeps hurting his legs? Mon to *

He doesn't have a good goal scoring record at all . Scott Brown has scored a few goals but is still terrible at shooting in the main .
Forrest cant shoot properly . he lofts his "shots" towards goal, his feet must be like pitching wedges.

I've never rated Forrest if I'm honest. I remember all the hype about him when he first broke through, a lot of folk talking about how he would be a better player than McGeady, which was never going to happen in my opinion.

It's always the same when debating about Forrest. If he can stay fit, but we all know he can't. He isn't capable of putting a run of 5 games together, never mind 10. Mackay-Steven should have no problem replacing him in the side in my opinion. He is an all round better player, and has more end product. That isn't based on recent times, I've said that for a few year now.

He's playing over on the left and it's maybe just taking him a bit of time to adjust. When he cuts inside he just needs to get the shot away instead of taking a bit too long in making a decision. That's maybe his only option because he doesn't seem to want to go on the outside and have to cross the ball on his weaker foot.

It maybe makes it really obvious what he's gonna do.

He's a guy we should have sold years ago when we'd have got a good price for him.
We didn't so we need him playing on the right.

He's got speed, he is physical and he has that aggressiveness about him, but he seems to be lacking in creativity and composure in and around the box.

For me this is starting to look more like a right back than a winger, and I think he would be extremely good at it, bombing down the right with speed and power and closing down people.

And we need a right back.

Lustig has feet of glass, matthews has not been overly convincing imo.

It won't because although they aren't the same standard, we have 2 right backs in the waiting..

We're not gonna get another top right back in for cheap and have 4 for one position, especially when we've had no cover at left back for years (taking away chico who plays everywhere else)..

Be reasonable guys. The way we play with our backs, he would be able to use all his winger qualities in that role. So if he is not getting in the team as a winger, he could be an option on back.

Glad to contribute to the cheerfulness on here :87:

Time is running out on his Celtic career. I read he hasn't started 3 ganes in a row since 2011..

You can have all the talent in the world but if ye cant play then its no worth a *.

    I'm not picky.
Is that you Tony? *, you'll be trying to put someone like Commons as a right back next.

Forrest is a winger and a very decent one at that. He's much better on the right than what he is on the left, though, and you can see that when he was changed from left to right against Dundee when Stokes came on.

IF he could just stay fit then I don't see why he shouldn't be able to get a run of games.

    He's hardly a lad anymore.

I know it's hard to believe looking at his wee face but he's * 24 year old and he hasn't improved as a player in the last 4 year.

He has pace but I think his technical ability is lacking, decision making is poor and shooting is *.

We could do better. I think alot of people are still clinging on to this 'wee jamesie' tag and the idea he could be something special.
