That's because he often delays to the point he doesn't actually get a shot off

Defo a player in him. Just lost his way and form with persistent injuries. I think Ronny can save it for him if he stays injury free. Commons looked doomed 6 months ago

People put up with a lot of mediocre performances from Izaguirre while he was finding his way back from injury.

James is just so consistently coming back from injury that people have forgotten how good he can be. Definitely a good player in there, just needs to stay injury free and get some momentum going.

Izaguirre has only really had the one injury since he signed though, and it was an extremely bad one at that. He struggled for some time, no question about that, but he has been a far better and far more consistent player than Forrest over the past few years.

That's true but like you say Izzy was average for a long long time. Forrest has basically had one and a half games back and there are a few saying that he's * with no end product.

I've no doubt that if he can manage to string 10+ games together he would produce good performances. He has done in the past whenever he has gone uninjured long enough.

i have been saying that for years . Because its true . he cant shoot , can rarely deliver a good cross and completely panics once he gets into the penalty area.

Give the lad a break, he has delivered for us in the past and has had a tough time with injures. I rate him very highly. Great wee player and will be again.

Hopefully he hits form or someone offers us decent money for the wee chimp in the summer. Does ronny rate him? I wonder

What Jammie needs is a run in the team,he has the talent and the pace all he lacks is composure and confidence...

Ronny is know for getting the best out of younger players.

People gave him a break when he was 19/20/21. He's hitting 24 now. It isn't going to happen.

Should maybe seek specialist help/instruction on how to manage his hamstrings as injuries are hampering his development and eventually it may go on to ruin his career. Im sure he gets quality treatment already but maybe worth his while to try and seek whoever to hamstrings what richard steadman is to knees. Hamstring injuries seem to afflict the quicker players.. The Bellamys, Kieran Dyers, Michael Owens of the world. Hopefully that isnt the case and he can go on to fulfill his potential.

Anyone got his stats? I'd say that he's got a fair few goals for someone who can't shoot.

Granted he shanks what seems more than normal but he always creates that space himself and is moving at some pace when he strikes it.

If he stays fit, he has the physical attributes and the footballing brain. The technique can be worked on.
