Thought he was our best player on Friday. The miss looked shocking to begin with, but it's hard to be critical when it has bobbled up and almost hit his knee.

He played well the other night, he's got talent which we all know, I just hope he can stay fit long-term.

I imagine he's out to prove his worth as he knows that wholesale changes are likely to happen to the squad in the summer.

He has to stay. Give him the chance of another season injury-free and he'll become an important player for us.

He has basic flaws in his game that I can't see improving. He'll get a stay of execution as Delia seems to like him and has a * for wide players, but if we are serious about taking the next step we need better.

Destined for a lower-half English championship side, before returning to the SPL with his tail between his legs.

Players at our club will always have some basic flaws in their game, it's why they are here and not at Barca or Bayern. It's also why the ones who don't have many flaws aren't here more than two seasons.

He has the most important commodity in todays game though, pace.

He will be very important in Europe next season, provided he can stay fit.

Might only take you so far but it will get you there quicker than a lot of other players. :smiley-laughing002:

He has more than pace lets be honest. He has a cracking first touch and the ability to link up with the forward.

Keep him fit next year and buy a Striker who can bring others into play and I believe a lot of people will be eating their words on here.

If our players were flawless they wouldn't be here mate, that's undoubtable. Every player is * flawed, even * like Messi.

Basic stuff .. awareness, touch, game intelligence, final ball.

I'm not expecting Messi-esq runs or Ronaldinho turns, but he is not at the level we need.

His touch is excellent, his awareness is alright too, loves playing short sharp one twos around the edge of the box and spots runs early.

His final ball and shooting could be better at times but he is a far far better player than a lot of people give him credit for.

Forrest can still be a big player for us, full pre-season and real competition in the wide areas.

Make or break season for him.

Mackay-Steven is miles better and should start on the right when fit.

I've no doubt more wide players will be bought in the summer as well, Wakaso and Tonev have been disasters, so Ronny will be looking again.

MacKay-Steven is not miles better at all, infact I still think Forrest is the better player of the two.

Both GMS and Armstrong have flattered to deceive recently after an electric start to their Celtic careers.

Mackay-Steven hasn't turned up for about a month.
