You need to mix it up a bit Don. Still rehashing * from 6 pages ago isn't how you play this game.

You have a long way to go before you emulate such cockwombles as Frank Timatra or TimMalloyBoy.

Keep at it though, you'll get there.

I never mentioned anything about confusing anybody in that post.

You'll get the hang of it, don't worry. Practice makes perfect.

    * * that was long night for some, anybody got the replay of the miss, i was right behind it front row, just want to see if it was as bad as it looked, i watched him for a while after it, and he looked drained from it. in the scheme of things it means * all, and he had one of his better games.

    Took a * of a bobble.

Still not a huge fan of his regardless but he wasn't the worst last night. Was actually taking on players and beating them for once...I was shocked.

Thought he was good last night, maybe he'll stay injury free and become consistent under Ronny, if he did that then we all know we'd have a quality winger.

Was at McDiarmid last night, and usually I'm one of Forrest's biggest critics, but I thought the boy had one of his best games in a long while. With Commons in the middle, being more direct (and less of a passer) than Johansen, and with GMS being played on the left and Forrest out on the right, it was clear that Ronny was looking for old-fashioned wing play from his wide players, rather than the 'inside-forward' role he usually likes to use. This really suited Jamesy down to the ground. He was skinning the left-back all night, and had a few really good delivieries. 'That' miss was dreadful, but every footballer misses sitters now and then. I felt his overall contribution was excellent, and that's high praise coming from someone who often doesn't rate him too highly.

Also, I don't know how it would've looked on TV, but the pitch was in some nick last night; was cutting up like a worn out old carpet. A good few shots bobbled quite badly on the surface, including Forrest's miss. Not making excuses though.

A mental miss, looked to be one of the worst ever but then in the replay you notice it bounced up and came off his shin.

At first I thought he'd done one of they black guy that played for Scotland a few year ago ones where he just skelped it bye, pure shock at the net not being hit.

Best game in ages because he did what he's good at and took on the full back when he had the chance.

If he did that every game he'd be a guaranteed starter and a serious weapon into the bargain.
