    Agree with this.

I'm usually a critic of Forrest's but he was the best player on the park before he went off. Went past their fullback every time. Should have been Commons that went off.

In hindsight yes. But Commons is the type that will get you a goal from nowhere and has done that so many times for us. It made sense at the time

I said that all the way through the match. Commons played *. Forrest was the only one with that spark in him today.

So much more comfortable on the left. Unlucky to be subbed which Ronny got wrong.

He has no skill or brains whatsoever.

He basically either manages to bludgeon his way past the fullback or loses it. Maybe if he takes the coathanger out his jersey it might help?

Destined for a lower league English club, before ending up back in the SPL with Dundee United / St Johnstone etc and his tail between his legs.

Our biggest attacking threat up until the sending off. Baffling why he was hooked for Zaluska and not Commons or Johansen.

I didn't much of the game today, and I'm no fan of Forrest, but I found it strange when he was hooked for Zaluska. I thought Commons was the obvious choice.

Absolutely . Should have been Commons but i would have had Johansen off before Forrest aswell. Forrest would have been very handy to have against ten man as he is the only one capable of taking a player on and running into a dangerous position/stretching them .

I agreed with him being whipped purely because he frustrates the * life out of me.

Commons was poor but at least always has that ability to ping one in which he normally does do at Hampden.

Well if he had pinged one in then it might have been the right decision to leave him on, but he didnae, so it wisnae. :bbpd:

If Deila had taken Commons off, he'd have been getting it in the neck for taking a match winner off.

He should have stayed on though.

There's a little less chance of him pinging one in from the bench. Just a little.

But at the time Commons was offering nothing, no link up play, no width, nothing. Keeping him on was more in hope he would do something rather than expectation.

Forrest was actually causing them problems, running at them, getting them turned and drawing fouls.

Had a really good game before he was subbed, he's been tearing them apart in first half. Hopefully he can provide performances like this on regular basis.

I agree Commons was poor but as I said he has proven time and time again he can score and create something from nothing whereas Forrest has proven time and again he is wholly inconsistent, even through periods of a match never mind of a period of several games.

His reaction to being subbed merely highlights the fact his attitude towards his team is still not where it needs to be.

Looked like Commons had a different role to play today filling in space to stop they're wing backs.

We'd have been better having two up front.

    Regardless he was anonymous.

That was the best i've seen Forrest down the left linking up and taking players on.
He was right on the pulse of the game, direct and piling on the pressure.

I'm not a fan of Forrest at all but I'd have had Johansen off. He's been out of sorts the last 3 games and Commons has that knack of scoring big goals but to be honest both Commons & Stef were poor today. James looked dangerous every time he went forward and had the beating of his man time & again! Ronny made a mistake there!
