Can be watched in English but its so much better in Chinese, my favourite film by far the storyline and acting is second to none.

 

I only watched it the other night after reading some of the posts in here.

Going to watch it again soon just to make sense of the supporting characters.

So much going and so brutal. Even more brutal when you know it's on the money and not glamorized in any way.

The end is both funny in a way but really tragic at the futility of it all.

 

Gomorra, it's not a film but a serie. Think it's well decent.

Oslo August 31st. Norwegian movie about a guy trying to recover from drug abuse. As the title suggests, it takes place over the course of a day. Quite depressing.

Theeb. Not seen this one but included it because I've heard amazing things about it, it's kind of like a Jordanian Western movie. Also wanted to included it because (watch the trailer, seriously), Arabic gets a bad rap as a harsh language, but it's possibly my favorite language for poetry or music.

 

The brand new testament is brilliant
