    Iceberg is just one of many varieties of lettuce, and its supposed to go in a sandwich or a salad or something.

    You're no meant to just eat a bowl of lettuce.

    On their own I'm not a big fan but crush some black olives into mashed potatoes and it's a delight.

    Get a bit of chopped tomato and pepper on it. Some grated carrot. Wee bit of cucumber. Salt and pepper, splash of balsamic, drizzle some olive oil over it. You've got yourself a salad.

    Escargot, there is no taste to them thats why the do them in garlic. Whelks are far better

    bar the occasional carbonara or spaghetti on it's own with some butter and black pepper on it i'm with you man!!!!.......this is not cooking anyways....it's boiling boring food in a pan and throwing a sauce on it to try and make it half interesting......my missus is a great cook and they all love spag bol but it's a no no for me too!!!!

    right i'm outa here!!!!.....here comes the cavlary!!!
