I picked up Kramaric for £2m in Jan last year, he only just arrived so I've not seen him play yet.


he should be good for you , the eye opener for me was because he took his team to the group stages of the champions league and scored 10goals and he was only 18! , but his stats do show he has brilliant potential aswell

 

I went Celtic and im at the end of September I think. I had won every game apart from I drew 2-2 and 1-1 with Twente in Champions League Qualifying in the middle of that I beat Aberdeen 5-0 away in my first SPL game then I won 10 games in a row until I played Liverpool away in my Champions League Group and got beat 4-0 then drew 1-1 with the Huns.

I sold McManus, Naylor, Loovens, McCourt. Mizuno and most of the Reserve team. Zheng, Robson and another couple are in the Reserves and i've not used them. I signed Pearce, Otamendi, Rodney Sneijder for £1.2m and he got a broken ankel about a week later and hasnt played a game even in the Reserves , Smilijanic or somthing, Miku and Chevanton, Chevanton got a broken leg after 3 games but he scored 2 goals. I've only net spent £0.5m, Miku is good for £425k he scored a 92nd minute equaliser against the huns :icon_mrgreen: just remembered I signed another guy Javi Baraja for free for cover since I only had 3 centre-backs but he's only played 1 game ive got him in the Reserves aswell.

I think its much better than last years.

 

Just signed Andrea Poli - he should be great for a deep lying playmaker type, ala Pirlo.

 

I got informed of that at the end of my first season after I won the treble. Pretty sure it happened to me in past FM's aswell.

 

Cant believe it, Samaras missed 2 headers from 2 yards out in injury time, oh wait I can!

Okay, RB solved but now Richardson is pissy cos I signed yer man as a right back. Even after assuring him he would be in the same first XI he wants to leave so im TLing him for 2.5million and I need a new winger, not great but just good enough to tide me over for the first season (looked at a couple of guys I had in 09 but they need work permits all of a sudden>)

 

This has been present in the last few games, after your first season almost always the stadium gets expanded to 75000. If there's an AI manager it doesn't happen though for some reason. For example in my last FM09 save it only happened a season after I took over, so in like 2018, but had I chosen Celtic from the start it would've happened in 2010.

 

Yea, the stadium expansion of CP is unrealistic and only makes your game easier

 

Just started on the demo......bought Zaki, for £3.4 million. By * he's doing well.

Really like the talking to the press facility in this version - a good addition.

 

My squad is quite small and I'm suffering a bit with injuries atm.

I've been giving a few players some game time in the lead up to January, in the hope of raising the interest and price tag - but they have actually been doing fine for me (domestically and in Europe).

SO I don't know whether I should keep them on, or still sell. Probably keep since my squad is so small.

Reall liking this version, its a step up from last year.

I downloaded an old 09 pack (over 1gb's data) But if you have an even more upto date one then spread the love brother. :icon_mrgreen:

 

I missed out in CL advancement man.. me and Chelsea ended on 8 points each while wisla!! ended on ten points * lol anyway lost out on second due to a -2 goal diff so not overly disappointed as my team was going through massive changes and I'm still in Europa.

Just about to play first leg at home to valencia.. tbh can't see me taking anything but heres hoping.

 

i am having a mediocre start to my second season , got beat of hearts 2-0 , 2penalties , loovens has had 2red cards in 7spl games i have seriously diciplined him , drew with rangers and dundee utd and beat st.mirren, dundee , motherwell and falkirk so a terrible start tbh.

ryan babel has made 6spl starts with 7assists and 2goals , he has been ripping it up lol

Oh well drew 1-1 with valencia at home! Decent result.. Now i'm in a pickle because i played a controling game at cp and looked very good but should i open up in the away leg or adopt the same mentality?..i have the payers to play a fluid game although my full backs are still off the pace of style i want Grrr especially the LB misun is rated better than fox in the assistants evaluation but i don't know man...... will post back my result in 20mins or so.

Misun has become my 1st choice LB and I'm grooming his PPM's to suit my style of play

Anyone know if going on Holiday makes a difference to your team performance ?

I have done it before, but i am going to resist it on this game for realism

 

Obviously it will because your assistant is in charge of day to day stuff

Even if you tell him to use your tactics or whatever, he'll still have his slant on how things are done. Whether that improves/makes worse/no difference
will only be known afterwards.

 

yeah Misun has become my 1st choice LB he is better than fox in my opinion , i'm guessing FM over-rate him quite a bit because i think he would be playing when fox was/is injured
