[PC] FM 10 General Chat

Started a Sunderland game, in 09 they were a * team but now they have had a takeover and it will be much less of a challenge so this is only temporary until I get used to the game, not even going to bother with a Celtic game this time.

Need a RB asap so any reccomendations would be helpful, been looking at Santon but he is very expensive and I need to buy about 6 players with 12million to get a decent finish.

 

Hinkel is a good RB

 

No better than Phil Bardsley from what I can see, ive been looking at Monzon. Boca want 2.8million and although he is a LB I could sell McCartney for maybe 5miilion and get a good Rb with that. * I love the whole wheeler dealer bit of the game.

 

Hinkel is better at

Defending, Physical, Speed, Creativity, Technical

Equal in the air

Bardsley is better attacking and mental

Phil Bardsley is one footed where as Hinkel is two footed, it is safe to say that Hinkel > Bardsley

One footed players generally will have higher attributes than a two footed player but a player thats able to use both feet will perform better, even with weaker attributes because all the opposition has to do is instruct the one footed player onto his very weak foot and watch all the mistakes. That fundamental flaw isnt there with a player that can use both feet, like Hinkel.

Gimme Hinkel every day of the week over Bardsley tbh

 

Hinkel is fantastic for me.

 

On my game Hinkel started out on the transfer list as well so could be a good shout. I've not even looked at right-backs though so can't really offer any recommendations..

 

Well still waiting for ma copy of this game to be delivered pre ordered it 5/6 weeks ago (damm royal mail strikes)


Did any of you guy pre order the game online if so did you get the game on time.

 

Fair enough, ill give him a try since he is in my budget anyway. Bardsley got a rating of 5.6 over the first 6 months in my 09 save anyway so I punted him and bought Celozzi as far as I remember. He wasnt cheap but was well worth it.

Bollocks. theyve caught drift of people bumping them. Cant use the Same product key as my mate.

I used to use pirated copies the hassle isnt worth it anymore, its one of the few games that I will buy :icon_mrgreen:

Celtic refuse to sell Hinkel, I even went as high as 3.5million just to see if they accepted but they still refused to sell. Im in the market for a RB and need to get one in quickly as the start of the season is looming.

 

You could get Srna for Sunderland
What about Belletti ?

My Celtic team has gotten abit cocky after beating Rangers 3-0 & 3-1 (SPL & LC) in Ibrox and lost 2 games on the trot, this allowed Rangers to narrow the gap to a point.

Looking to put that right against Vasil Levski in the UCL

 

still playing fm 09 , with hibs 3rd season pushing for the league .
its january and i am 2nd , 3 points behind the huns and 3 points ahead fo falkirk who are in 3rd , celtic are 5th.
in the semi final of the cis cup against falkirk , going strong in the scottish cup and i got a nice wee budget after i sold jason o hare , a regen who i signed from celtic for 4k and 1 year later i sell him for 7.5m. with that money i bought quality in graeme dorrans , andy jackson , kerrea gilbert , zaluska and got kilgallon on a free. got vuckic for 700k , alibec , stoch , ross mccord and santonoctio coming up , also i have david wotherspoon , henry baxter and a few other coming through the ranks
