The time of year is nearly apon us  The demo is suppose to be out tomorow.

    Whos looking forward to what?

Personally looking forward to seeing how good Ki Sung yong is going to be because the skysports scout who are combined with Fm rate him 62/80 which looks like his potential will be -9. Also look forward to seeing Fox and N'guemo. Interested to see how much McManus will be worth because he is always the player I get rid of first and last year "£4.5 million worked a treat

Dunno if I'll bother with the demo... Not sure, might plough on with Dortmund in FM09.

Absolutely can't wait for FM10 though, I really hope the bugs are ironed out early as opposed to last years shenanigans...

lol the SIgames forums are already flooded with people, who can't get it to start, cause of various directx and installation issues, doesn't bode well for the full version.

I just downloaded the dll file that it requested and it works fine lol.
    d3dx9_41.dll free download - DLL-files.com

Anyway the interface will take some time to get used to, that's for sure. Played my first game, 5-3 win against the Reserves. Can't seem to find how to give out touchline instructions, when not in 3d mode. Also the link to tactics, when it was just the match info screen didn't seem to work.

First cool touch: being asked if you want a press conference to unveil a new signing, when they join.

But on the other hand John Reid has accepted offers of 12k and 28k for Scott Fox and Charlie Grant as too good to turn down.

Whoa I'm in... Decided to go Arsenal to see how things work for world-class sides. (I never go Celtic)

Not played a match yet but it seems a lot more fluid scrolling through the players and that, seems much faster although I have a small database running here.

First great feature I noticed is the backroom advice is much more in-depth, there is actually a number of really interesting stats brought up by the assistants. For example, some for Arsenal:

Neil Banfield has noted this is one of the youngest squads in the EPL.
Neil Banfield has noted that our team has some of the best dribblers in the league.
Neil banfield has noted that we have one of the shortest squads in the league.
Neil Banfield has suggest Ochoa as a potential singing, as we are weakest in goalkeeping position.

The stuff goes on and on - quite handy!

First team will of course be Celtic. One thing that will be * is that reserve league will be gone and I'll have to look for some feeder clubs and for some smaller teams where I can send youngsters on loan. Also, I'm curious about transfer budget, I wonder how much you can get in first transfer window...

Demos are usually riddled with bugs, but that is taking the *.

They want hardware info from this years users to help compatibility. Once again, the paying customer is being used as a beta tester :38:

Yeah, right. I think it'll be less than 6m. Tell you what, you'll have 1000 v's if you're correct and other way, of course. Deal?

To be honest I've got a creaking old system and although the database is fairly small thing's have never run smoother!
