    All depends who you are, but Emerson at AC Milan is cheap and a fantastic player. he's old though, but that just means experience, whatever way you wanna look at it lol.

    another good DM is Hugo Viana from Valencia, he's hard to get, but his attributes are really tasty.

    (The problem with Viana is he hardly wants to go to any club)

    More of a creative type though, not a strong tackler at all

    Ever Banega for about £3.5 mil. I brough him in at xmas on my second season as cover for Crosas (out for 6 months with McGeady both broken legs, against the huns no less :31:) and he's been class ! Wins nearly all chalenges and chips in with a couple of goals and assists.

    Was wanting Zerkhov as well but can't afford him now. Also could do with a quality backup keeper or maybe if I come into big money I'll go for Buffon or something...

    FM09 - quick!

    im going to start an offline game in FM09... the first 5 people on here to clearly state - IM IN! - will be in the competition.

    here are the rules
    ________________________________________________________

    we alll start an English Premier League season with Aston Villa and whoever out of all of us finishes with the most points wins!!!

    ENTRY FEE: the entry fee to this competition is 500v's

    PRIZES:

    1st Place: 2400v's
    2nd Place: 500v's (refund)
    3rd Place: 100v's

    RULES:

    1.you must post a scree-shot of your league table at the end of the season to prove your league position, points and goal difference

    2. the winner is decided on how much points you finish on at the end of the season. if 2 or more people finish with the same amount of points, it goes to what position you finished in at the end of the season. if 2 or more people finish with the same amount of points in the same league position, it goes to goal difference and then to goals scored. any questions?

    How to take a screen-shot: you press Ctrl and Print Screen Sys Rq at the same time, you open paint and press file and then paste. then you save it. then you imagehost it.

    THE ENTRY FEE MUST BE PAYED DIRECTLY TO ME. IF YOU DONT HAVE 500v's THEN TOUGH *.

    I went Scotland, they only know how to play 4-5-1 and all the strikers play crap no matter what combination.I also got bawbag fergie tae * and made McManus captain with Hartley Vice-Captain.

    He didn't do great for me when I was Villa, I bought a liverpool reserve as a back up and he replaced him after 3 months.
