FM 09 General chat

3/5 times altidore has been a flop for me , on one of those occasions he scored 27 goals in the premiership for my reading team

 

I'd be very temtped to just go for Altidore, because in the SPL (Old Firm aside) I'd imagine he'd rip it up.

I cant muster the motivation to finish the season that gets me to 'Dempsey Park'. The game offers no challenge and I'm considered an elitist club despite being only 25k stadium for the 13 years. My players are barely considered internationals despite serious form that should get them a look in at least.

Dunno if I could be bother with another game on Fm09

 

Yeah it's getting that close to FM10 there is almost no point

 

Problem is Mike, I dont feel like buying another half finished game and being the beta tester for SI until after Christmas when they effectively release a working copy effectively with a patch.

FM09 had huge flaws imo that were never addressed properly.

True, there were ridiculous flaws that cost me in big matches. I suppose I am thinking wishfully that the game will even be close to the FM9.0.3 level of completeness, but it's not gonna stop me buying the game

 

I'll be getting it I think, but I'll have no problems returning to my current FM09 save, if the new one will have major bugs at the start (and chances are it will), which is the longest one I've ever played in any of the CM/FM games. I'm in 2023 now and still having tons of fun.

I find it ridiculous that with the major amount of testers they apparently have, some very major bugs still make the final release. For starters the too sensitive keyboard bug, how could that go unnoticed is beyond me.

guys , fm runs really slow on my laptop thats why i dont play much , does anyone know how to speed it up?

 

Try using windowed mode , and close all other programmes

I thought windowed mode makes it run slower?

All you can do is make a smaller database and make sure you're not running any other programs in the background. Anti-virus guard doing its scans makes mines go slow as * so it's worth making sure stuff like that's not upto no good...

Just started a new game on my maws laptop for my trip to Inverness today going up for the weekend for my bro, he's running the marathon.
